    PITCH of a roof may be entered either by degree or inch per foot. Span of roof should be divided in half and entered as RUN, RISE is the height of the ridge from the wall plate. Hope this helps! If you want add'l help, we have live CHAT on our website or email techsupport at calculated.

      Just enter your elevation as a decimal such as 523.45 press CONV key then the FEET key three times and it displays 523 feet 5 inches and 3/8. Or if you want answer just in inches, enter 523.45 FEET key then CONV then INCHES key for 6281.4 inches press INCHES key again for 6281 inches 3/8. Hope that helps

    • @CalculatedIndustries
      @CalculatedIndustries  Před 10 lety +1

      The CMP Trig is a part of the CMP app - you get both the CMP and the Trig in ONE app. Available for both iPhone and Android smartphone users. Just go to the Apple Store or Google Play to upload, then in preferences turn TRIG to "ON". Our video on our apps show you how to do this if needed.

    Am looking forward to making the most of this calculator but I think you need to slow down on the tutorial and make it longer. I can't see how one is supposed to get properly to grip with this tool in 4 min 51. I didn't have instructions with mine either. Anyway thanks for a good tool in anticipation.

      Hi Alistair - I understand it's a lot to absorb and this overview can be quite overwhelming. I would suggest viewing the short 2 min demos we created to learn the most used functions of the tool and to email us for a Users Guide, that we would be happy to provide. techsupport@calculated.com

      Many thanks for your prompt reply, I will email you. I have watched a few other videos and have worked out how to find the common rafter length which is what I was most after. We will build JerUSAlem..

      Apologies for this late reply. All of our devices come with user guides. As the CMP model guide is very large, we include a pocket reference guide located in the back pocket of the unit for on-the-go reference. Full users guide in multi language & metric is available on our website. Hope that helps and you are doing well with learning the product.
