I honestly don't get why some brands insist on the ridiculous price tags when it clearly can be done for a fraction of that price! I can never ever justify a price like that for something that washes off at the end of the day, especially when you have much more affordable options. Thank you for your great content, I love your videos❤️
I appreciate how you always mention if a product will accentuate texture. My over 45 skin needs to know! Things that worked at 35 are not working these days! It us great to see someone on this platform who speaks my language!

The Alter Ego palette design is so beautiful, Artemis named for the Greek Goddess of the Hunt, makes sense it would be a hunter green color. The colors are beautiful, I would totally spend $22 for this versus $130 for Natasha Denona. The look you created is stunning, I was totally wrong about which side had what. The brush set looks good too, I am always looking for a great eye brush set.

😮 I was convinced your right eye was the ND side!! OK - I refused to pay $$$ for Metropolis when it could have been a 12-pan palette and had the same amount of variety. But an Alter Ego dupe?? Heck yeah!!! Will be waiting for the ND Bronze dupe, too. :)

The Star palette was already done when the brand was trading as Bad Habit. It was the Divine palette. You might be able to find it on poshmark or ebay.

Everytime I find the Bad Habit one it's gone or in a bundle. I want a new one in the new formula :) I had the comfort zone palette, but I love this formula from Alter Ego. (Which I believe is the same as Bad Habit's) I have a lot of their old palettes.

So excited that there's officially a dupe!! I loved the Metropolis palette color scheme but I couldn't justify the price even for that many shades. Plus it would be way more upsetting when the cream to powders dry out in the Natasha Denona than the Alter Ego. Can't wait to pick this up!!
I'm not that familiar with cream to powder so thank you for pointing out that they probably will dry out. what a bummer! but still some lovely colors and can't beat the price.
I WILL BE PURCHASING AND I would love them to do dupes for the Pat Mcgrath devine rose palettes along with her Bronze one...plus all the other Natasha Denona palettes I don't own yet

I purchased the Sahara and Daydream palettes a few months ago and was so shocked at how nice the packaging was and how good the shadows are! I’m trying to be more picky on palettes I buy now, I’ve been eyeing the new ND Bronze palette but seeing this video makes me soooo happy because now I’m going to buy the Alter Ego palette and save over $100!!! Thank you soooo much Jen ❤️❤️ (and I know this new palette isn’t a dupe for the ND Bronze palette, but it does have some similar shades and I actually like this Alter Ego palette more)

Oh and I bought the eyeshadow primer when I bought the 2 palettes and I love it as well! I find myself grabbing that eye primer over my Morphe, Too Faced, Milani, and even my Lorac eye primers.

Were you very disappointed in the metropolis? I bought the mini gold palette and realized I don't love her formula (at least not what's in the gold mini),but I really love her shade selections, and I love Natasha Denona's work and her personality.
You just have money jumping out of your pocket lol I wish it would jump my way
I’m no eyeshadow expert by any means. I mean I know the bare minimum. My eyes are very small and very hooded so using more than one color sometimes takes me a long time. I was impressed with everything in that palette except the cream to powder. I’m not a fan of cream shadows fo begin with but the pigment on those are severely lacking for a $129 price point. Difficult to use. Picking it up with a brush is impossible and using your finger only stains it and you can’t transfer color to your lid. Idk. There also could be something I don’t know lol. It’s a good palette. Just not good enough to me to ever make another ND purchase unless it’s her $25 minis.
Omg I just got mine today and i love it!! 😍 The colors remind me of fall and are so vibrant. I did a gold and orange look with it and really love it.

Definitely buying this. I'm shocked that Alter Ego decided to dupe the Metropolis Palette. I noticed one color one bottom left that was similar to the color above but that's one color. Plus there's one color that I like a bit more in the Artemis Palette than the Metropolis Palette so fair trade. Otherwise, the other colors are so unbelievably close. So excited to buy this. I wanna try an alter ego eyeshadow palette so bad! I hear the formula is great and it's so affordable!! I want the goddess palette (dupe of ND gold palette) and/or this new palette!! I love how the goddess palette is Greek goddess themed. I love that and I love the color story so hopefully I can get that some day!

Mariah Villa I had mine about a year still not dried out and her formula is a 24 month life
How many golds and bronzes do you need? ND palettes are just like the ABH palettes, so many contain the same shade with a different name. When Bad Habit was making the dupes for all those high end palettes, it got ridiculous how many shades we're too close to even tell the difference, especially on the eye. ND palettes bore me to death, except for Lila (which I had the Bad Habit dupe for). This is just my opinion. If you love them, go for it!

Michele Martin for me, I totally duped it within my collection. But I do like the idea that they are all in one palette. But I’m not going to spend $65 for a Natasha denona one. I’d gladly pay the $16-20 for a dupe.

Normally, I’m against dupes (Makeup Revolution, for example). but when the target is super high priced, I’m more inclined to be interested. Now..... can they consider Pat McGrath???
they have duped PML palettes already. It is under their old brand name A Bad Habit. There’s 5 palettes in their cult palette series: Mania, Mayhem, Mystere, Mythos, Mystic. I have all 5 and they’re really really high quality.

I got the ABH one and it was way too light but this one is perfect for me! Never have any creasing. I like a few of their brushes. Some I don't use as much bc I prefer a more rounded brush but still they're great for the price
