- Golf Clubs are expensive. And it's getting worse!
TaylorMade, Titleist, Callaway and many more brands are increasing their prices every year. Do we really need to buy expensive golf clubs.
Putting a JP wedge (worth $595) against a MacGregor wedge (worth $50) will tell all.

So at the end of the day it's a Rolex or an Omega against a Casio.
Whilst we can all appreciate the craftmanship and design that goes into a Swiss made Chronometer be bowled over by the asthetics attention to detail and quality.
The £30 casio keeps time 10x more accurately.
As a Kid I had a Barbra Romack Sand iron. No idea who made it cleveland Mcgreggor or someone else. I had it in my hands morning noon and night out on the lawnat my parent house chipping and pitchng ball into a bucket. Or Putting balls into sucke flower pots and a lawn that my dad mower with the roller mower and grassbox 2 or 3 times a week
From 50yrds or less on a course anything further than a clublength or two from the pin was considered a crap shot. And 3 putting was banned.
I gave the club away with my junior clubs when I outgrew them
And have never found a Wedge I can play with that has the same feel since
Great video. If you can afford it why wouldn't you go for the JP wedges they look amazing . It's nice to know though if you play golf on a budget like a lot of people do that you can still get a decent wedge for not alot of money
Whats funny is I thought the one that was 50 pounds was the expensive one. Guess I'm too cheap for golf.
Love the video. Completely different target markets if you are in the JP market you wouldn't be seen with a MacGregor wedge at you prestigious members only golf club because chances are that's where you will be playing. Performance might not be the prime concern for these purchasers. A professional fitted wedge will be as good as anything. For the price the MacGregor is hard to beat and offers fantastic value. As always you pay your money you takes your choice.
You can't buy a game you have to work for it..
