I watch videos about fast food a lot and I live in Australia. We don’t have chickfila (I’ve had it in LA twice tho), Popeyes, five guys, Denny’s, Wendy’s, Arby’s, chili’s, chipotle, Jack in the box, etc. What makes up for though is the fact that our kfc is 10x better than American kfc because we actually have chips (French fries) and our fried chicken is really juicy and still a bit greasy but not that greasy. I had kfc in America once and it tasted terrible and you had to pay for better pieces. I hate thighs and gag when I eat them so when I learned you had to pay for breast and rib pieces, I thought it was a joke.
I’m from Bangladesh, and we get fries! And we don’t have to pay for breast and rib pieces. Our local kfc also has this amazing menu item called the zinger chicken rice bowl. It’s rice seasoned with traditional spices and it also has popcorn chicken. I tried it once and I loved it! We also don’t have Popeyes, or chick-fil-a or in-n-out, we don’t have McDonald’s either. We have Wendy’s, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Dominoes and kfc 🍗🍖🍕🍔🍟
Any international fast food joint that doesn't offer things they have in other countries, in the USA, is missing out. I guarantee there's enough adventurous USA goers that would love to try these things for them to make them permanent staples.
I am a Singaporean currently living in Kyoto, Japan. And the first thing I don’t understand is how can the KFC be so different from Singapore in so many ways, and not in any bad ways. Just that unlike in Singapore, there is lesser branch of KFC while McDonald’s have a lot around. The Singapore version is that both McDonald’s and KFC are really rival, and the breakfast menu was a way to fight each other. I mean, look at their menu list and you can understand there are some similarities to each other, which make me go for try, and yes, there are Singaporean are pretty “harsh” on their taste buds, which is why you can easily find different culture foods from different countries within radius of each other in a shopping mall. For foreigners who visiting Singapore, I tell many friends I had made in Japan, to not go visit the Changi Airport, Orchard Road, Bugis, Suntec... etc only even though I also list them as first in the list. Places like Choa Chu Kang Lot 1, Jurong Jem or Jurong Westgate have their own take too. A few days only in Singapore? And hate too much crowd? The places I mentioned may be crowded at times but not as worst as the city/central part of Singapore.
For the big boss KFC Canada item why not sell it on the American side Niagara Falls, NY where someone can buy it for 4% sales tax New York State downstate Manhattan and the five boroughs 8.875%. That way someone from the province of Ontario and Quebec can save 5-10%
Please know that if you have happened to sell your soul to some type of a contract, power, spirit; or; the devil; to please know that JESUS CHRIST has the ability to break up any of those types of relationships
