Tears flowing as I reminisce. It’s true as you age the same song will form new meaning and you discover that deeper meaning only as you age. Been a fan of Garbage since the beginning and they were there during my teens, 20s, 30s and today. So much thought, emotions, melody, lyrics to create this honest masterpiece. I so very much miss this music. The video is an absolutely perfect choice.
Probably the perfect Garbage ballad - Dark atmosphere, charming melody, achingly sad lyrics, slow-burning pace, stunning and moving vocal work, all leading to a crescendo of sonic bliss and a maelstrom of melancholia.

What is funny on this comment is I have seen enough of their latest interviews (set to promote this album) that when I read Butch I read it on Shirley's voice on my mind and from there on, all the rest of the message is on her voice.

I think this isn't just my favorite song on the album. It's become a favorite song of mine in life -- along with others, of course. Sometimes, if this song is on in the background and someone is over to hear it, it stops them in their tracks and they just listen. I had a friend tear up after she heard it, and a few other friends commented that it floored them. So yeah, songs like this don't come around often. It's so beautiful in so many ways.
I was at their show in Ljubljana, Slovenia this tuesday. Shirley said this song was the essence of their new album. And they performed it with such affection that it seemed as though the song was here for years. If this were the 90s this song woud've been a hit. In this day and age only Garbage fans will feel genuinely moved by this wonderful song.

I tend to play this song for a lot of my friends who I know hadn't heard it before. What's really fascinating is the looks on people's faces when it's playing. They stop and actually listen. I've played this for friends who don't even like Garbage, but this song does something to people; it stops them in their tracks. You just can't go wrong when a song does that to people. I remember when I first heard it; I just knew I'd love it forever.

Add Shirley's voice, those perfectly doomed lyrics, the building of the rhythm adding more and more and more.. When this album was released this was the one song I immediately loved as a great Garbage track, period. Not "for nowadays, compared to mainstream bs.." just in itself a masterpiece.. I of course still feel the same way right now
This song feels like Depeche Mode wrote it. That's not an insult since Garbage and Depeche Mode are two of my top three favorite bands of all time. I'd love to have Shirley and Dave Gahan do a duet together. It would be so dark and epic.

So, so beautiful. I was disappointed by the first single EMPTY off the new album but this song is one of the most touching and haunting songs in their entire discography. I've been listening to it on an endless loop for the past hour. Beautiful!!

This song always gives me chills, I fell in love with the whole album.
My new jam. I've been playing "You Look so Fine" on repeat since I discovered this band a few years ago and I haven't gotten sick of it yet. So glad I came across this group and this song! Looking forward to hitting the replay button many times on this one!

I think you can hear garbage evolving, musically speaking, into a more deep and soul touching band. But when you hear them live is just out of this f***ing world. This song is a strong candidate to be on my top 5 Garbage songs along with "Medication", "The trick is to keep breathing", "#1 crush", "I'm only happy when it rains" and of course "Special" and "Queer" and "Stupid Girl" and "Push it" and "Vow" and ... I think that was more than 5.. this is so hard.
I cannot wait to hear the complete new album. But from this song and "Empty" I can only say "WELL DONE". You are, if not, the greatest rock band ever. You have my complete admiration and support.
