Starting at 4:07...Garbage upgraded to version 4.0. As if the rest of the record already wasn't Garbage version 3.0, then that moment comes along and from there on out, Garbage raises the bar even higher, showing more than ever how ahead of their time they are.
Leaving imitators/wannabe's in the dust for good, because this is an evolved Garbage. It's like the past, present, and future Garbage came together and created this record, and then with this song they took all of that and went into hyperdrive, showing in 2016 and for years to come that they can't be touched.

A fun story, or at least a great memory for me. A few years ago me and my brother were on the road, in his car, coming back from what was at least a 200 miles stretch. He knew how to make his cell phone play in the car sound system (I didn't).
While driving he said "hey sometimes me and my pals play this really fun game:
You make one listen to a song you think is great, wait for the reaction, then the other one tries to come up with something better".
It lasted for at least an hour, an hour of pure bliss.
Then I make him listen to "So we can stay alive"
His reaction? "OK I cannot beat that".
Damn. Listened listened to fhe first 8 tracks, thinking, this is good, but I want some energy. Then they brought it in spades. And the guitars! These guys can tear it up.

I don´t understand why Garbage is not playing this song and "Magnetized" or "We never tell" in their concerts. What is the reason?
In one of their interviews they say they were hesitating to go for this song cause the knew this one cant be played on Live concert. Then they said fuck it let's just go for it at least for the album..

me neither...don't hear it....but regardless, Garbage have made no secret that they are greatly influenced by dozens of artists...they even made a Spotify playlist to show what songs influenced them for this album. But nobody is ripping anyone off here.
