Hi everyone
We are back to continue the upgrade series on the Traxxas Trx4M High Trail K10, and today we are going to be removing the last bit of plastic left from Traxxas, besides the body.
Keeping this, an Injora build I went for the new CNC Crome aluminium bumpers! And I’ve got to say they do look good! 👍 so like always, I am going to install them and then I will also take it for a good trail around the backyard course, so we can have a good look at these bumpers on the truck.

It's a bit short but once it's fitted I haven't noticed it and it actually looks really good!

Thank you so much Jonathan! I am actually really impressed with this rig it outperforms the Bronco and Defender, it's amazing what the extended axles have done for its side healing capabilities.
All in all it has turned out to be an incredible build.
Now it's time to concentrate on personalizing the body.
And then it's time for a new build!!

Nice video, like it. The bumpers are awesome , but a bit sad that the rear one is too narrow. I have also a red K 10 one and the bumpers are the last plastic pieces, all others are Injora. You mounted the Lcg chassis and for what i see used shims to widen the chassis.Have the same chassis and it´s also too narrow. Used the original one instead and wait for response from Injora.

It's always so exciting to get to the last few components to change but then sad at the same time because, the movies coming to an end!
But I still got some really cool ideas to do to the body to personalize it so let's see how that goes in the next video!
Thank you very much for the feedback on the lcg Injora HT chassis, I see that only a few of us have this issue but nonetheless it is a problem!
You can check out my video fitting the lcg chassis and you'll see exactly what I did to make it work!
And off the contacting and sending the measurements to Injora they did come back to me saying they were too short but the tray was the right size!
So that tells me they was so short that by fitting the mount the tray would just fall out.
So I guess if you use the spacers you don't have to make another trailer like I did, but in the end I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

I was looking at my Ford High Trail and the stock bumper is short like the one you received.
Injora may have just made it like the one on the ford.

I totally agree with you, I was definitely expecting a lot more from Traxxas when these got launched!
They should not be called a Traxxas trx4m!
It's got nothing to do with its big Brother!!!
No portal axles! know two speed transmission! and no lockable and unlockable differentials!!!

It might help a bit when you trying to crawl between rocks, but I still would prefer the full length like the original.
I really like the front bumper with the bull bar, I think that's awesome!
I got the meus racing axles, I mat put those on once I get their motor as well.
I do though, want to get the same bumpers you got though.

Soo the only traxxas parts left are the body and the esc? Can you build yourself another hightrail with the left ove parts??
Indeed I can, I've basically got a whole car just missing electronics and the body!!
I built 2 tarantulas with the parts I removed from my Bronco and Defender.
Does the body snap on and off good , like it does with the stock bumpers ?
No, you have to use your fingers to open the clips when pushing the body down for it to clip on!
It's a much tighter fit and especially with the lcg chassis the battery tab touches the bottom side of the bed making it a tight fit.
But don't take me wrong I was doing the same with the original bumpers on the lcg chassis.
