I'm replacing my two Q6's with this one! Preorder done:)
Enjoy your new charger :-)
Thanks!
Awesome review, Gal! 😃
Looks like a great little charger!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks Mario. Take care buddy!
Thanks for the review! Is it true that the is limited to 10S = 20V @PB ?
So in order to use 25amps you need that Y cable?
how long does it approximately take to charge a battery?
Better then htrc t240 ? I'm not interested output power . Just to be accurate and we'll done made and can charge 1-6s without balans ? only battery in series ? thanks you .
The fan in my UP610 is getting noisy I'll add this one to my short list. Not sure If I missed it but did you mention what discharge current it can handle?
There you go: 4:19 :-)
Hi, can you do a video of charging 2 x 6s / 5 Ah lipos in async mode with max. charge current? The charger should be able to handle 10A each. Thanks
Hi, unfortunately I don't have this type of big capacity batteries.
Hi and thanks for the review, just a weired idea, the M6D hast also a "power mode" where it behaves like a bench powersupply with 1-28V output, would it be possible to connect both outputs in series to get up to 58V ?
if yes, that would be awesome and I could charge even my 13S E-Bike :D
no.
how does this compare to the hobbymate/hota d6? I am looking to upgrade from a single channel 50W charger. Since I fly micro's and full sized quads I like the idea of being able to charge both kinds at the same time. The D6 seems nice since I won't have to buy an external psu to use it but it won't have full power that way. Furthermore, the M6D + an external power supply will cost me less than just buying the Hota D6. Is there a significant difference in usability/features that would make the hota worth it or are they relatively equal in that regard? Also, do you think reliability will be an issue with the M6D? I have heard of some issues with other ToolKitRC chargers even though many people like them and don't have problems.
Well the main advantage of the D6 charger (which is my daily charger along with the IDST D2) is that it's an AC/DC charger.
If you already have a power supply I would go with the M6D as you wont be missing any of the features of the D6.
I was told by ToolkitRC that they improved the accuracy of the charger and I am aware of the some users had issues with their previous chargers, but I didn't experience these issues (and I did not use them enough as well on the other side).
@@KremerFPV Thanks!
Hi Gal great videos you think you could use a parallel board with this charger?
Thanks John. Yes you can.
do you like the CNHL Black Series ,any issue with them ?
I have a very good experience using them.
If I wanted to use full power of this thing, what wall power supply would fit it the most ?

Hi Kramer. I just purchased this charger after seeing your review. I cannot get it to charge off the adapter to a wall plug. Only can charge if I use a battery as input. I have also gone to settings and put it to adapter input and even reduced the amount of watts to see if it makes any difference. I’m not going to be happy if I can only charge when a Lipo is connected to the input.
What is going on with this charger ?
Please advise Thank you
have not purchased the product, but are you using a AC to DC power adapter/power supply then to the charger? or are you just inputting AC power straight into the charger? I would imagine you need a AC/DC Power supply connected to the charger, as it does not have a built in power supply internally on the unit itself.
Hi, you must use a DC adapter. Which one are you using? Please upload a photo of your current setup.
excellent video. Question is the Bal Cur of 800mA for each output or 400mA and 400mA?
Thanks Dan. As far as I know - per channel. I can double check it with ToolkitRC if needed.
Hey Gal! Between M6D, M7AC and M9, which one would you pick if you can pick only one as your daily charger? All three are pretty much the same price where I live at the moment, and I just want to make a good move. I already have iSDT D1 (AC/DC), but I need a good backup charger, just in case something happens with my D1. Thanks in advance!
Hello! Personally for me I think that the M7AC is the best all around solution as I normally charge my batteries at home and I like the XT60/XT30 option. If you are going to need mainly a field charger go for the M6D :-)
@@KremerFPV - Thank you so much for your prompt reply Gal! By far the best videos out there. It would be an honor to know you in real life and go for a coffee sometimes :) Thank you a million!
@@Seii-FPV Haha, no worries man!
@@KremerFPV - Just one more quick one.... I kind of really like the M9. No AC, I know... but would it be possible to power it with my D1 when I am home, at the bench? Power Output from D1 should be more than enough, correct? I power my quads and my soldering iron with it. In that case, I would have M9 and no problems powering it from D1 (serving as a power supply, since I already have it here, so why not)... and when taking it outside M9 is still little smaller and lighter than M7AC if I understood correctly. Not to mention M9 is 600W unit. What do you think?
Do you know if the power supply mode is limited to 250W or 420W (28V x 15A)?
It's limited to 250W.
Lot of versatility for a package that size. I'll bet they'll sell a ton of them...
Yes, it's an impressive charger indeed.
can you power this with toolkitrc ac adapter or is it dc power input only?
nevermind, i see you covered this further in the video. thanks!
No worries, thanks for watching!
how acurate the voltages compare to isdt charger.thx
I haven't tested it thoroughly, sorry, but it seems pretty accurate.
Hello frend, about your experience, it is a good mark and charger - balancer?
I only tested it a few times asI use AC chargers as my daily battery chargers.
👍
Nobody reviews the noise level, thats to bad
I can test it for you if you want me to. Anyway it's relatively quiet even when the fan is at full speed.
@@KremerFPV Good to know, thank you. Noise is a factor for me (more the wife...) since I charge in the living room. Sole chargers sound like a hovercraft.
think. I'm starting to regret my self for buying the toolkitRC m8 300watts charger
Life is too short to have such regrets ;-)
So it doesn't come with the power cable??? Then what good is it? Garbage...
It's a DC charger you know... You have other options out there.
👍🇭🇷
IM ASTONISHED that the manufacturers didnt give this charger AC/DC abilities!!!!!!!! Fire the engineer or fire the one(s) who approved this for manufacturing. Just saying.
Nearly all these chargers are built like this because you're not going to fit an adequate supply in this form factor. I'd rather it be this form factor to hook up to my beefy DC bench supply and small for carrying out in the field.
Just to be clear - I do not expect them to pack a DC power supply inside this charger, just hope they will release a bigger one that will have this feature.
Why would you say that. For the size and price, that is really great. Go get ISDT 608AC or D2 if you want to get AC power. Also engineer dont decide which products approved for manufacturing. If you dont like the product, just go with other products, or built yourself, I'll buy that.
I also would like to purchase a charger with inbuilt AC power supply, because it's unclear to me what wall adapter to get and where from?
After connecting the M6D to my computer with the USB cable....nothing happens....( no show USB disc named Toolikt, nothing.). I trieded on the desktop and the notebook....
What can be wrong?
I tested it on both mac and pc with no issues. Have you tried a different USB cable? Make sure it's for data transfer and not just for charging.
@@KremerFPV i will try...
