I like Al Snow. I think he's one of the few people who can still talk with Russo AND with Cornette, agree with either, both or neither and still have everyone's respect... except for the so-called "journalists" and "reporters" like Satin, Sapp, Meltzer...etc. Who are just marks like everyone else but consider themselves "smart", which actually makes them the biggest marks. Seriously, how can these people think they know more about wrestling than people who have been involved in the business in some capacity for 25-30-40 years?

They only report whatever crumbs get leaked to them by sources, so they don’t really do any investigative journalism either, they just report rumors that may be true or they may not be true. I'm the only person I know who listens to both Cornette and Russos shows😂 I'd definitely consider myself a Cornette cult member however they both keep me happy in different ways. Cornette shits on AEW every week and Russo shits on the dirtsheet maggots and they both shit all over Meltzer😂

When it comes to wrestling podcasts there SHOULD be two basic types:
Those from people who worked in the business, and thus have inside knowledge. They speak with inside knowledge.
And wrestling fans who never worked in the business, but know they are fans, and speak as fans.
However a third group is all too common. Fans who never worked in the business, but believe they are experts who know more about the inner workings of the business than people who did work in the business for years. These people even charge other fans to pay for their "inside knowledge" which is usually total bs. This third group is mostly very arrogant as well. As such, they are obvious figures of fun, and making fun of their imagined importance and vast knowledge brings enjoyment to many.
It is also hoped that doing so will make Group 3 realize how far away from reality they truly are.

@@mattleeeThere's definitely some truth to that. Russo emphasised the characters, which is what actually draws, and everybody was over. I don't think you get there without incredible pre-existing people like Rock, Austin, Undertaker, etc. I do think some of his writing was more like a bad soap opera and he hotshotted the hell out of the industry for a while. There's a middle ground between "sports based" and character based.
How can you call yourself a wrestling fan but insult Al Snow. I feel like Al has earned the respect of all wrestling fans and SRS and the other guy are supposed to be fans.

I feel sorry for Maxxine Dupri. She was brought in for a non wrestling role in a gimmick that failed, and essentially started wrestling to keep her job. She is not good in the ring right now, but she should not have been put in televised matches this early in her career. Anyone would be terrible this early in their career. People should understand that, instead of making fun of her and tearing her down. Her situation is very similar to the position Miz was put in early in his career, and he ended up being a pretty good and highly successful professional wrestler. It just took time for him to figure things out. People should understand that and be patient with her. Not everyone is Kurt Angle.

I absolutely agree about the kayfabe in social media aspect of what Al was saying. If your account is opened under your gimmick name and you are using it in a professional capacity, then you should maintain kayfabe. It kills the gimmick

Snow was a dangerous worker , just saw his videos where he dropped RVD on his head.
Snow was an active wrestler during the time period when guys worked every day. Not once or twice a month. People who wrestle everyday for 20 years are going to have a couple of botches. It doesn't make him a reckless or unsafe worker.
Why? Since you saw one video from 25 years ago, against a guy that he wrestled numerous times, on different nights, across the country and had one slip-up? One accident? Al Snow was one of the safer workers
