I heard a rumor (and it's only a rumor) Lindsay offered his drivers Life insurance, where he was a benefactor when his over worked drivers died on the roads... Sure, he is very successful in the Transport industry, but it was from pushing the boundaries of a moral compass, when the likes of International Transtars were travelling the roads overloaded at excessive speeds... Yeah, those were the good ol days when "Mermaids" (Cu#ts with scales) took bribes to look the other way, and K rates could provide a subbie a living wage...

He was caught financing ISIS so this does not surprise me at all.
The Twin Towers on 9/11 had BILLIONS of Terrorism Insurance, a type of Insurance you can't get anywhere else - because of the Risk of insurance fraud encouraging terror attacks.

it sounds a crappy moral position, however, when a driver crashes a truck, the Owner is heavily impacted.
An Operator I worked for had several accidents close together and the Increase in Insurance sent them broke.
The Driver is in control of the Truck, not Lindsay Fox..
If you had $1million car, wouldnt you protect your asset?
Too many times, drivers crash trucks and just walk away and get another job, leaving the Owner to clean up the mess.
It shits me that people dont take responsiblity for their actions.
If I was Foxy, I would take the same action, as the Driver also has Life Insurance from their Superannuation that the boss also pays…

what is important, people, personal relationships.
Does that mean getting credit and then never pay?
      No it's the "Kill" Principle.
      Bit of lily gilding here

I do wonder if Lyndsay gives a dam about his drivers. All my years at LF has showed me that they treat their people like shit. I have seen many many employees that have been screwed over by LF, including myself, a number of times. Their managers are typically out of touch and are more interested in picking on their workers and finding any little reason to dismiss instead of looking after their people. They are a horrid company.
