@@scottythedawg It's easier to short draw a bow than full draw, sure. But you'll get more power from short drawing a 120lb bow than you will from full drawing a 30lb bow (just as an example).
This is the most accurate representation of archery in D&D I've ever seen. Especially "I should've cast Hunters Mark".

Funny story, in genshin impact, there is a character who, used a bow as a main weapon, and for the final shot of his auto attack combo, just straight up yeeted the arrow instead of throwing it, and it is the highest damaging hit…

The lack of a Paladin falling over himself trying to shoot a bow saddens me to a great degree.
Me with a Paladin who never used divine smite and just used a crossbow for his weapon lol. Just casted divine favor and had crossbow mastery so I attacked 3 times with my hand crossbow with divine favor active. And I was 2 lvs into necromancer Wizard so the Dm ruled since I was using a spell whenever I killed an enemy with Divine favor active I would heal a bit cause of grim harvest. I was also an oathbreaker so I had hellish rebuke. So if an enemy actually hit me (which was unlikely since I was most of the time at range) I could just hellish rebuke them and if I kill them I would heal. I would take like 8 dmg then heal 4 back by killing u. It was great. Unorthodox characters for the win!!! I was actually pumping out the most consistent dmg for the least amount of resources since all I’m using is a lv 1 spell which last for a minute.
Why the fuck would a Paladin fall over himself trying to shoot a bow? Is this some 5e idiocy?
Because Paladins typically use Dex for a dump stat, my irrationally angry fellow.
