- Hello everyone and welcome back to court climbs! Today's video is all about my favorite 5.8-5.10 climbing routes in the Red River Gorge. I have been to the Red River Gorge probably around 15-20 times in the past 2 years and have explored a fair few crags (obviously not all of them, but a lot!) Would love to hear your favorite routes in the comments, and maybe next year I'll make another video with any revisions that didn't make it on the list this year!
Honorable mention to A Brief History of Climbing 5.10b in the Gallery, a route I climbed shortly after making this video and def would have added to this list if I hadn't already exported the video!

What are your favorite routes at the Red!? Let me know in the comments!
Awesome vid. Just went to RRG for the first time last month and can't wait to go back. Managed to send some 11s at MFRP and Muir Valley, but really enjoyed a lot of the 9s. My personal fave was Little Wing at MFRP Secret Garden. Fun movement, nice big plates most of the way, great exposure and views.
Great video, I've recently climbed most of the ones you mentioned. It was fun to keep seeing routes I've sent appear next in the video. Machete is surely one of my recent favorites. I happily climbed it a second time to clean it. Thanks for posting this, you make good content!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It is always cool to watch things you’ve climbed or want to climb. Appreciate the compliment 💛
Just got back from the gorge and Oompa was one of my favorite climbs! It's a great one to practice falling on.
Glad you had fun! :)
My favorite crag, in terms of raw beauty: the infirmary in Miller Fork.
I’m trying to remember, I think I’ve been there, but clearly not enough, I’ll have to go back! Thanks for the recommendation! 💛🤘
For all ye slab climbers, Boltergeist is a phenomenal 5.10a/b at The Hideout in Muir. The view at the anchors is *chef’s kiss* as well.
Ooo I’m gonna have to check that out. Love me a chef’s kiss view. 🤘💛
Great video! Chocolate factory looks sick.
Love me the Chocolate Factory!
Eureka is a 5.6 in global village, and one of my favorite climbs I've done recently, you might check it out if you haven't yet. Good list.
I want to get on Eureka! We kept trying one day but there were too many people in line!
Many climbers's first "big" lead route!
Glad you liked Kentucky Pinstripe.
Great route!
She's a Witch 5.10a at Camelot in Miller Fork. One of my favorites so far.
Hippie Lip Balm 5.9 at Secret Garden has some really great movement.
I’ve been to Camelot but haven’t tried that one, will for sure put it on the list. Secret Garden is a crag I really want to get to as well! Thank you for your recommendations!
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Only done creature feature on your list so far but will add the rest to the list. I just did my first trad and first multi pitch climb called Diamond in the Crack. It’s pretty off the beaten trail but if you find someone with trad gear it’s a great first experience.
I have been talking to someone about multi pitch trad in the Red come spring, so I appreciate this!
Tesseract at the Portal in Miller Fork is fantastic. 85 feet of inverted climbing. Rated 5.10d. Great suggestions BTW
Thank you for the rec! 💛
Virgin Bolter Tag Team at Sunnyside is awesome.. Just to the left of Machete.
🤘🤘🤘
My favorite crag is the Gallery.
Right after I made this video, we just went there! I loved it!
