- We had an awesome meetup in the Red River Gorge. It was so cool to see some old friends and meeting some people who I’ve never met but watched there channels for a longtime. The camp time at Hansons Point was so much fun. Those were some memories I’ll never forget.

Jeremiah Stripper had me lol'in, that was a good 1. A little disappointed Jason's prison shank did not make an appearance this episode.

I hear that Baby Ruth is making a new variety with cheddar cheese built in because of your video. You-all did some hills on that trip and saw what has to be called the Red River Gorge highlight reel with all the best spots ticked off the list on one trip. My legs won't carry mah belly up that many of The Gorge's hills in a day. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure!

It was definitely a party in the gorge. The last night was the biggest party. Lot of tequila was drunk on that night. Lol

Cool meetup, Jason. Huge group. Great trails and sites you show everyone in the Gorge. That snake head formation was pretty neat. You are a great guide to all the great spots in the gorge. When we come back we want to do that Auxier Ridge trail. Let's see, with that many people how do find any privacy for the dooty chore? LOL. The fall colors were looking great. Awesome trip. Great Video Jason! A couple years ago we stayed at a campground and day hiked various trails in RRG. Going back for a 2 night backpacking adventure but am having trouble choosing a route / loop. It seemed like you guys used vehicles from time to time. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Some in our group have never been and looking to show them arches, overlooks, ect.

Did y’all go up the back side of cloud splitter?
Yes. There’s usually a rope there to go up. If there’s no rope look at the right side and you might be able to get up that way. Be careful.
I hiked cloud splitter 30 years ago and don't remember a rope. Has it always been there? Thanks
Someone put that rope there. But it was gone a couple of weeks later. Lol. I usually bring a rope when I bring people there. Beautiful views up top.

Is backcountry camping allowed at red river gorge? Or do you have to pay for camp sites?
You don’t have to pay for campsites. You do have to have a permit in your car for 1 night or 3 nights. I think it’s 5 dollars a permit. 10 dollars for 3 nights.
