Castlevania Rondo of Ruin is a Castlevania Portrait of Ruin romhack aiming to modify most of the games content. There is a new story, new items, sprites, weapons, music, and most of the games areas are modified in both small and big ways. Set 5 years after the events of Symphony of the Night, join Richter Belmont, Maria Renard and their companions as they work to unravel what has caused Castlevania’s early return to the world of humans. - Hry

This is like the game I always wanted.
I see so many of these, but been watching this while recovering and this is a really, really good integration. Plus the music (and resident evil menu sounds) make this absolutely beautiful 🎧🎮💜
The romhack is pretty well done, but the creator should have used the Richter sprite from SotN for the Sega Saturn and the long haired face avatar, if it's supposed to take place 5 years after SotN it's weird to see a young Richter Belmont instead of the more mature, long haired one

@@LeonardoRodrigues-uj1sm Terrible? in the Japanese PS1 version that was his outfit during the whole game! It was only changed for the actual richter mode, so no. it doesn't suck
There is already a hack with a fan made sprite of SotN Richter, perhaps in the future the creator of the hack will make an update with that sprite as an option
Terrible?.... the sprite is ok, it isn’t as good as the original but.. come on, it’s jacket richter with all the little details, what did you expect? But it looks good...

I enjoyed "Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin", one of my favorite DS Castlevania titles. However, I would still very much play this game.
That bartender skeleton can give you useful items. Just wait for him to pass you a drink.
Why would the save statue in the shape of Shaft though?
man, what emu are you using? how do you make the graphics look that good? im using melonds and i cant make it look as smooth as you have it. mine is all pixelated/blocky. thanks.
NVM, I figured it out, I have to change it from OpenGL to Software. Cool. :)
I'm playing it right now, the hack is pretty good, my only complainings is that the creator made maria weaker on purpose (or i don't know how to use it??) he removed the concentration bar Charlotte had, instead, Maria turns around and the mp restores faster, the lack of that bar makes her spells weaker and some, like ice needle, pathetic, he gave Richter a spell (purification orb or something) that seems stronger than any I've already got with Maria, I ask myself if he could've put maria doves as an option for attacking or he just chose not to (the sprites for the doves are there, since there's Richter mode on the original ), the creator is obssessed with the sliding-jump thing and in some places I just don't know how to reach no matter how fast I press the button, there's not enough space to slide jump.

The hack got a major update a couple of months ago. If you haven't seen it yet, try it out and see how you feel about things. Might fee better than before

You probably found it by now.
But it's in the pyramid, in an area on top of the boss room. You need toad morph to enter.
And be ready to fight one of the hardest bosses of the hack.

I got 1000% completion found retro whip.
The eye of decay is not working so anyone trying to use it isn't gonna work just have to go everywhere ceiling or wall for 1000% on game.
Are you using MelonDS? Since it works fine on DeSmuME and when played on physical NDS.

Acabo de completar la primer pintura,parece funcionar bien en drastic, para parchar el ROM use UniPatcher pero asegúrate que la ROM sea la de USA
Yo lo emule en drástic en mi cel pero hay un problema , no puedo hacer el cambio de personaje osea de cambiar a María no me deja ustdes tuvieron ese problema ? Díganme ya que lo emulare en una 3ds en twiligh menu, baje rom de la otra página el que ya está parcheado pero pasa ese problema de que no puedo cambiar de personaje
@@rodolfoyoharygonzalez3872 es raro,no se que versión de drastic utilices pero la que uso funciono todo con normalidad,puedo cambiar de personaje al instante sin problemas si todavía no lo pudiste lograr intenta revisar dos cosas
1: que la ROM que utilizaste sea específicamente la de USA ya que la de otras regiones como europa no funcionan correctamente o directamente no se puede
2:está parece ser una conversión total de portrait of ruin,estuve un rato jugando y la reliquia que te permite cambiar de personaje creo está en otro lugar,revisa si ya la obtuviste,si ya la tienes entonces trata lo primero
@@justexbelmondo667 gracias amigo eso fue la reliquia de cambio de personaje, ya entendí la mecánica de el salto y la vuelta hacia atrás ya quedó dominada y también de deslizarse y hacer el movimiento especial de patada voladora 😎👍 me encanto este hack
