- Today, we take a look at 10 bike hacks and tips. We've done hundreds of these hacks in the past, so they're admittedly getting more obscure as time goes on. Nowadays, I keep a running list in the notes app on my phone, and just add them as they come. It took about 5 months this time.

I was wondering when these hack videos were coming back!

They are coming back 28 minutes ago
Given the amount of hacks he has already done I would imagine it takes longer to come up with new ones.
Whenever i get busted taking a Pee Pee in the woods, I just quickly introduce myself as "Steady Spin." That way I don't end up on any lists.

Seth. From every bike rider in the world.
We LOVE you.
Yo seth, i have mad respect for you because you upload quality video's every week (almost but if you can't just let us know so we don't worry about you) and still keeping berm peak in as good shape as possible, please keep up the great content!!! (and by the way this was the perfect way to start the weekend thx)

That last hack had me rollin cause itâs so freaking true! đ€Ł
I know cold weather generally means more hacks. Iâm going to miss the berm peak builds over the winter, but I always love a good hack video.
Saturday morning in Australia = Early morning dawn ride followed by Sethâs new upload and a coffee. đ The Best!!
Seth, you are amazing! You are my favorite biking channel! I love all your videos! You keep the biking population alive!
So, after you âsummon a localâ with trailside relief, should you wipe your hands on your shirt or shorts before shaking their hand to say thanks?
I think that is why the Fist Bump was invented
Haha. Or put your riding gloves back on.
I think you're supposed to urinate on your hands so when you shake hands with the local you mark him as part of your territory ;-)
@@thinkdrinks384 umm... What
@@ilarikorko5909 that is just customary mountain biking etiquette bud ;-)
I thought I was going to know all of these. That tube trick tho! Nice!
You can also stretch a 26" or 27.5" tube to fit 29" wheels no problem.
I bring 26" presta tubes in my pack even though I'm running 27.5 and 29" wheels mostly (Have 24" and 26" bikes too though). I reckon the 26" is the most universal donor. I've never bought a 27.5" tube as they're too close in size to 26, which I had already. The people running plus size/fatbike tyres are about still probably stuck trying to use any normal sized tube though.
Glad I waited to watch this one. Looking forward to the next, no rush of course.
Best start for the weekend a video dein Sethđ
Who else canât wait to see what berm peak will look like when it is finished!
đđ»
NO! NO! Hopefully Berm Peak videos will run for years and years
Knowing Seth, it's never gonna be completly finished. There is always room for new features and things to hurt yourself on.
Trail Reviews I think it will never be finished. It will always be added to and adjusted. But it will be fun to watch it progress.
Missed the hacks videos. Nice to see a new one come out. :)
I am just trying to learn what I can. I am just now getting into MTBing. I am not building a place to ride, but I am needing to get some small stumps out. I never thought watching a MTBing video would give me the âHow Toâ to do it. Thank you.

Hi
Iâve been using 27.5 tubes as spares in ALL my bike tires for years. Even the road bike. You can usually get them in 27.5x1.75-2.25â. This has worked for me in my 29x2.6 (they stretch), 27.5x2.35, and most impressively 700cx28mm. With the roadie repair, I put another 500 miles on it across Iowa without a problem. You just have to be more careful when installing, as to not pinch all the excess rubber.
That last "hack" made me chuckle.. Great videos Seth
It is good to have some bike hacks after some trail work! Although, I much prefer the trail building, as I'm building one in my backyard as well. Keep up the great content Seth!

Iâve been missing bike hacks but still love the trail building videos
I hope he post his video soon
You can use an old inner tube as a buffer for metal on metal clamped accessories like rear carriers that mount onto your frame. Use them in between the part that clamps on your seatpost and frame and avoid scratches.
Edit: you will have to cut the tube to size obviously
Already Used most of these. Thanks Seth!
29er tube for all wheel sizes - possibly the most useful tip I've ever seen (maybe cause my family runs 3 wheel sizes...). Cheers Seth for the awesome vids
3:30 seth I knew about this one never thought you'd bring it up
Use a 27.5 spare, it stretches to fit a 29. The right width is more important.
26 even better
Awesome work guys
the shock pump tip really worked, thanks.

Seth, I was skeptical that you can continue to come up with good ideas. I watch your other content instead. Well, I watched this and learned some useful tips. Thank you and I'll continue to tune in!
Seth where is our new video
4:15 You know the metal ring that locks the valve stem in place? On some of those rings, there is a smaller section that sticks out. You can flip it, and the smaller protrusion will fill in the gap between the valve and the hole. I apologize if that was a bit confusing, and I can DM you on Instagram if you want.
I love watching theses vids. They are so entertaining. I still ove them although I donât even have a mountain bike. But they inspire me to save up and get one
I watch as many videos of yours as I can but the 10 bike hacks are always my favourites

Hey Seth!
Related to the dirt jump sifting hack, you can grab some steel mesh and mould it around the top of your wheel barrow. Then as you pile dirt into the barrow, it will sift out all the sticks and rocks as you go. Then just take off the mesh when you pour it out.
During the Air-Pump-as-Slide-Hammer section, I flashed back to the dentistry scene in Castaway.
Hey Seth, I'm working on building a wooden wall ride out for my local trail system. I thought it could be along the lines of the jump in your "Building a Hidden Backyard Bike Jump" video turned on it's side. Any advice?
P. S. Making a real wall ride for Burm Peak would be sick
Ive used that saws all trick after your trail building episode. Works great đđ»
glad this video was done. was getting bored of trail building.
