I went onto work in Fords, Then Class1 HGV, Then/Now Mobile Cranes [South Wales] I;m giving serious thought to building another Mini with a V-Tec [Had a Genuine 1275GT @ 18]. I love your Passion on getting Angles/Geometry RIGHT. So when i Get My Mini i;ll Probably Hit you up for some Fab. I prefer the Clubman Front-End as it gives Much more room. THANKS for the Vids Bud.

Loved watching this 😍 About 40 years ago, there was a TV series called Driving Ambition, about a woman going through a midlife crisis, who decides she wants to race. It featured Peter Baldwinds BDA engined,space frame mini, looking very much like your creation. It featured footage from the Wendy Wools special saloon car championship at Brands & was also filmed on a disused WW2 airfield, local to me in London Colney. 👌🏻👌🏻

I have owned various Mini Cooper S from standard - ish road going to highly modified road to ultra lite Hillclimb Special Saloon, always been a mini fanatic, I’m sure there are loads of folks out there with the same condition, 😂. Altho I’m an old Geezer now I’m still bonkers enuf to own one again. Very tempting. I’ll keep a note of your contact details. All the very best for the future.

I thought afterward it was kinda rude suggesting crashing it.....but with that amount of thought gone into it, you almost want to see if it works. Great attention to detail.....and hope it doesn't get tested....
@@skidmores.garage Thanks for the reply. This may seem like a strange follow up question, but do you know the radius fillet on the 25 mm box section and where did you get the 25 x 25 mm box section? Wondering how it compared to some of the stuff I've been looking at.
They are good just tricky to get the right spring rate when on a mini with the light back end and heavy front, and not a fan of how they mount on the steel body cars with them 4 top shock mount bolts.
Absolute load of rubbish. The Jack Knight mini spaceframe cars were built by Dave Forster racing. I know because he built a car for me and JK wanted to buy mine for the fastest mini in the world race at Silverstone. These were a complete spaceframe which didn't have part of the mini subframe bolted in and a completely different suspension lay out

One of my last chassis is having a vtec in it and the build is plodding along at a nice pace
