    This song deserves it's props that no one ever gave it. Probably the best rap of all time. Great beat. Sick lyrics. And it makes a good sampled beat. They only made one song so you can't find anything about them online.

Im very happy to be able to stroll back down memory lane when the NYC/music in general held a special substance.. many were poor.. but we were RICH with originality & pride..the music was FRESH & our souls werent sold to the devil.. we partied for the love & fun this new music gave all..modern music industry needs serious help...has lost its FOUNDATION IMO....OLD SCHOOL 4 LIFE! 1LOVE..Port

    Dude. Thanks for this rap song. It is on my top 3 if not my #1 favorite of all time. You guys were awesome. The lyrics were just ultimate and just killed my brain man.     I was a teenager in Charleston SC at the time, and we were always waiting for the new rap records to come down from New York. To my knowledge, this never made it down here, but it was certainly the kind of thing I would have loved back then.

    I was born in 76 so I have limited to no knowledge about hip hop in these days. I didn't get into hip hop until about 83. thanks for posting so I can know who these early pioneers were. because vh1, bet, or even mtv is'nt going back this far; unless it's the sugarhill gang.

    @Xozona Close but wrong. Positive K sampled the same tune as the Nice And Nasty 3 did: A Taste Of Honey - Rescue Me (1980). The Funky 4 + 1 sampled it as well for That's The Joint (1980).

      Actually this is not a sample. Its a real band tight as hell ... I'm still trying to memorize the whole song. These MCs don't know how valuable this joint, is but i hope they understand. I still got my 2 original 12" i bought on church avenue when i was a kid !!!

    theres a big difference between a RECORDED song and RELEASED song ...you can RECORD a song in 2010 and it can be released to the public in 2012 and it will say 2012 on the cd
