- In this video we visit the country Belgium, more specifically Bruges. Bruges is a city in northern Belgium, one of the most picturesque places because of its well preserved medieval town. A lot of things you can do here, like visit Belfry Tower, walk around the market, visit the museums and much more. You can also do a canal cruise (30 min boat ride lets you see the whole town) or better yet stop by a brewery and try that Belgian beer. You can definitely visit Bruges for a day trip from Paris, only two (2) hours train ride from Gard Du Nord. We also visited Daya Chocolates for some souvenirs.

Hello! My family and I are plaining to visit Bruges from Paris in December. What part of Paris did you say you got the train from? also any tips?
Hello Victoria! Thank you for watching! We boarded the train from Gare du Nord, it's better you buy Tickets online ahead of time, we bought ours from SNCF. Google Maps will be your best bet to find the next train or next stop. Enjoy your vacation!
Love it! Did you have to go thru customs adding time to the travel?
By train, no customs.
How far was it from the station you got off at in Bruges to the city center/ and canal area?
About 10-minute walk.
Im going to Paris in September I’ll be staying in Latin quarters what train station should I take to Bruges ? How much is the ticket ?
Hi Millie! Take a train to Gare du Nord, it's better to book Tickets online ahead of time, it's more expensive if you buy it on the day you go. I paid about $100 per person. Have fun on your vacation! :)

We bought ours online, but there are kiosks at the terminal where you can purchase tickets as well.
