Funfact: according to an analysis of the most realistic pshycopaths in movies, those were the results: 3- Patrick Bateman 70% 2- Hannibal Lecter 85% 1- Anton Chigurh 95% I don't remember where was the man of Psychosis
I heard that too, and it makes a lot of sense. Really, Anton is truly a man without empathy. He just gets the job done with no emotion. I always thought Bateman was less of a psycho or even sociopath and more of a malignant narcissist because of how emotional he is and how poorly he handles stressful situations (not to mention his fragile ego, omg is it out of this world).
@@slick8232 well, psychopaths are not people without emotions, they are people which emotional incapacity to related with other people. Because even Ted Bundy, sometimes called Sociopath or Psychopath, had depressed thoughts and suicide conducts. They used to he aggressive or violent because is some of the ways that they know how to interact with the rest, but in a way that they don't care the health of the other. Also, I met two psychopaths, one was a girl of 19 years old that almost destroyed his family only because he doesn't care about his parents or his brothers, it's weird because is like talk with a machine. Another psychopath that I met was a boy of 25 years old that, contrary to the girl, never do a violent conduct, but he is incapable of feel anything, even if he is kind with his mother, he knows that when she pass away he probably don't gonna feel anything. The last one is a psycho that work for my uncle, he just likes to be in trouble, literally that, his mom broke a leg and he never tried to take care about her. My uncle was afraid that, because we owned a pizza restaurant, that someday could find the place without the fridge or even burned out just because this dude likes to me in trouble. Patrick is in the Spectre of a psycho that was molded by the environment, but he was apathetic since his born. In the book Less than Zero, novel by the same author, his brother is portrayed as a sociopath.
Psychosis is a break from reality, Anton is aware of the real world and how horrid his acts are, he's just apathetic and remorseless to it. More so, psychopathic
Yeah but he has admirable traits that every man wants such as ability to persevere through trials and be courageous while remaining true to your beliefs, which Anton displayed after coming back soon after getting shot. Also he's anti-hero and is able to single handedly destroy evil which he did when he killed the 2 mobsters and the 3 Mexican gang members by himself

Anton Chigurh was an evil person but i can't deny this Javier's acting in this movie was absolutely amazing!
Javier Bardem's voice has so much power...
