There is some kooky (and I do mean kooky) "Christian leader" out there (the lady with the pink hair) who thinks Trump is the second coming of Christ and she has demanded that Trump be allowed to take his "rightful" place as president (because he won in 2020 by a tremendous landslide). Censure does absolutely nothing. Censure is the same thing as somebody pointing the finger at her and saying you did a bad thing and then going about the rest of the day like nothing happened.
It's better than non-expulsion, which Republicans will not do.
More is coming out about her, though, as example her statement while a candidate that she would oppose taking down statues of Hitler.
Censure keeps her away from working on projects. She will be essentially sidelined. Hopefully she will face expulsion.
With her sidelined, the people of GA will realize their mistake and she'll be ousted after one term, like her idol.

McConnell may have said it was reprehensible, but no censure, reproach, or punishment will be issued by McConnell or McCarthy.
If a Congress member does something that would get you fired at LITERALLY ANY OTHER JOB, they need to be removed, and replaced. They need to be held to MORE STRINGENT STANDARDS than the “working” class.
