How to hit a pancake serve - tutorial

The Elusive “pancake serve” is a lot of fun!
Of course you want to pick and choose when to “serve it” lol and do so sparingly for best effect.
I got lucky with the ace here but turned out perfect👍🥞😂

I've tried this after seeing that Swedish pro show his serve. If i used it in doubles, I'd be worried over hitting my partner. I do hit just a flat serve out wide now w continental grip. Are you aiming at the T to hit it wide? I'd like to come back to this serve, but I just want to have reliable serves before adding a trick serve... besides the underhand serve.

Yeah I would say get a reliable serve first. And learn this serve as a fun surprise serve once you feel solid with your normal serves.
Depends on your grip but when I do the pancake, I hold a western forehand grip. And aim a little right of the center strap, and put a lot of spin & that should make it close to the corner and spin away 😄
