I'm incredibly blessed to have a monthly full-proxy vintage tournament just 20 minutes by bike from my home, and I'm thinking of joining in for the first time in about 3 weeks. This will help a lot with choosing whitch deck to bring.
I've been wanting to get into Vintage since I discovered your channel a year ago, but I'm still having troubles being able to even consider affording it. Hate that I might have to be a BoB player cuz of it, assuming I get there, but it really do be like that I guess lol. Really happy with detailed breakdowns like this, tyvm mate
One of the greatest parts about vintage is that it’s difficult for wizards to monetize, so they don’t really support it. This means all but the largest paper vintage events tend to be full proxy, and even when they aren’t, no Vintage player really looks too hard at your stuff. We just want players!
Thank you for providing this data. I wonder why Grixis is matching up so poorly against Jewel as compared to Esper control. It can't be lack of Lavinia because Esper Initiative is also doing poorly in that matchup, and both play Lavinia. Hullbreacher and Red Blast seem like such strong cards in the match. I get that sometimes the deck just combos off with artifacts and Red Blast doesn't help, but it's not like Plow or Prismatic would do anything. And only the last few events involved Orcish Thighmasters, so that can't be it either. Any insight?
@@IamActuallyLvL1 Absolutely she is…but then why does Esper Initiative do just as poorly as Grixis? It has Lavinia. Idk, all I know is I switched for the Buffalo event tomorrow. I’m going Esper.

Haven’t played since Gifts Ungiven was a top deck but it’s a fun format

Hopefully you can find some proxy friendly events in paper or maybe can use a rental system on MTGO!

Another one! Thanks Justin - watched the two hour one for Eternal Weekend 🎉😂❤
PLAY VINTAGE WITH ME!
Such a good youtuber that I cut off my own patreon plug >.
I should get back to the format some day, I have played from 2010 to 2020 and gave up with the pandemic.
Thank you for this content! I took a long break from playing vintage and don't know what's going on with all these initiative decks 😅
Great video Justin!
Cool video. I wonder what I’ll play.
From watching your channel a bit I'm guessing bazaar lol
When almost all your prison cards get limited, mishras prison decks fall off. Funny that.

I think esper init is just a horrible deck is why
What's the cheapest viable Vintage deck on MTGO?
most MTGO decks are around 500 Tix and can be achieved via a rental system if desired
