Once again John shows us how to simplify and convey an impression of a scene, bringing light and life to his paintings. He paints a variety of his favourite subjects in watercolour interiors in a beautiful stately home and coastal scenes in Constable country, which include boats, buildings, figures and harbours. He also works in his studio, producing a wonderful painting of horses and carriages in Seville.

He is a very great painter, however when I click around so many people paint similar to him. And similar things as well. I love the work he does, but even more so Agnes Cecile.

I loved what I had seen here until the artist mentioning about the use of the photograph. Well, could this be one of the reasons why Picasso was so important as an artist because he intentionally not to refer to photograph when he created his artwork? I have been thinking about the use of photographs or not for most of my life since 1950's, and still am puzzled to draw and paint realisticly or not, because I want to famous as an artist since I became a registered architect.
