Cheap Milwaukee Packout Fix!
czcams.com/video/XY8vkQ5k1kE/video.html
I bought a cheap throw away set from amazon to remove stripped lug nuts and It worked absolutely perfect! Always a good Idea to have these type of problem solvers on hand to save time in an emergency situation. Thanks for the reminder and great video!
yes they have been on the market for over 10 years craftsman and irwin have had them for years
What happened to the first bolt that you had in the left side hole?
Yes i saw that as well.
good catch
I have a lisle set from sears. But I feel like almost everything Milwaukee touches, they make it better. Even the locking tap and die handle that snaps in works great.
Have a Craftsman set from 20 years ago or so. Used them plenty maintaining old vehicles from the lands of winter salt. Every once in a while you will turn a bolt head into a cone. Be careful with your trigger squeeze and if you feel it happening it is one of the few times where a wrench works better than an impact driver (if you catch it before coning).
I've had the full set (10-12 of them), made by Irvin, for some time. They work great.
Right on!
And I have Irwin 5 piece that comes in a case. No adapter for an impact driver though. This came out about 10-15 years ago.
Hello again, Vince and Vcg
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I brought a set from Harbor Freight sometime ago, and I still haven't put them to use yet. Again thank you 👍
Thanks for sharing George!
That's really interesting.
I like that. Good job Vince.
Glad you enjoyed it Stephen!
Great accessory for the kit! Thanks Vince!
You bet!
I’ve used similar, the Channel lock 410 if you have the space works, the short screw exactors (like Icon 58699) often works on cap head Allen type, Torx, triple square, ….
Go Vince!
Yes I've had those for a while!
Woa! watch those fingies 😅
I flip my hand over because the palm side fingers are padded.
You hammer a knuckle and......
I know your a pro though

Of course I have seen them. I think I have a set and used them once.
I gotta get those asap
Thanks for the video, link shows $19.97 but when it's $31.97 when you land on the site
I'm going out to the home depot tomorrow and buying em
Bro this ain’t nothing new, look up ez outs, been around a long time. Definitely a good thing to have in the arsenal. Union carpenter by day, wrenchin on cars by night, how ya doin!?
Wrench as a hammer. What are you, an electrician?
🤣🤣
Thanks for discriminating us electricians you uncultured swine 😂
Yeah. He's not taking his own advice.
We, electricians, use our lineman pliers as hammers... not a wrench... that's some plumber shit...
I'm a electrician too and I was gonna say the same thing lmfao 😂
Like wtf we don't use wrenches for hammers lmfao 😂
I could use that...bigtime bolts that been rusted, been in longer than my 55 years of life. My question is Vince, is it hard to get the bolt or nut out of the extractor itself when your done. Such as the bolt head being made out of cheaper quality metal and is so soft it contours to the extractor itself. Did I make sense? Imma Pittsburgh fella Vince, that steel mill dust hurts my ability to communicate sometimes😂
Nah, bolt popped right out!
My set (not the video set) came with a punch. Put the extractor with stuck bolt in a vice and punch out the bolt through the 3/8" drive hole. With this set you could probably turn around the 3/8" adapter and use the 1/4" drive hex as the punch to shove the bolt out. Usually doesn't need more than a tap.
@@DSArmageddon666 ty for the tip😀
Thank you Vince! They work great for stripped out fasteners 👍
You're a hell of a salesman , this stuff has been around forever. They even make ones for locking lug nuts.
There turbo sockets ,snap on made them years ago and they work awesome now others are finely catching on about it lol
Thanks for the info! Wow that was quick!
You bet!
That is cool 😎
I have the 13 piece kit from Amartisan it cost $22.99 on Amazon. It works perfectly for me
Did it make a difference when u switched impacts from driver to wrench 2:28
Serious I'm not trying to troll I like to know things I'm genuinely curious
They make one for screws?
Why does it say $19.97 in your description but its 30 when you click on the link
No clue but the Depot has the Dewalt Max Impact bolt extractor set (identical to the Milwaukee) for $12 less.
@matthewjbauer1990 yeah but that yellow though
How many of those heads did you break off making this? Lmaoooooooooo
Lol
Although there’s no storage spot I just slide the adapter into one of the sockets.
They make bigger sizes to remove rounded lug nuts also.
That t shirt ❤
What happened to that 1st bolt you were working on...did it break? I noticed @ 2:25, the bolt is on the right...but then @ 2:28 there's a new/different bolt on the left. No worries, shit happens
Must be an old idea if Red Ryobi make them now.
I need this accessory if MY using impact drivers 🤨
Yup
Someone needs to figure out a way to extract a broken Tap Bit threader (5/8 or 3/4) from an I-Beam.
Grinder
U need RYOBI!!!
Rocket sockets are made in USA
Is that a brand?
@@VCGConstructionyes and they are nice. I have the whole rocket socket set.
@@VCGConstruction yes with more options and similarly priced
@@JohnR9965they also passed the Project Farm test
Oh man, been there done that. Stuck screws are the WORST. I HATE them!
Hate em!
use this tactic years ago
Hey vince whats you're height and weight?
Easy there killer...I'm _pretty sure_ he's married
TF does that have to do with anything??
I would probably just use a pair of vise grip pliers
Vance, really!?
...IF YOU'RE* (.... YOU ARE ....) USING.... NOT YOUR
Come on man!
He needs to go back to elementary school and learn basic English/ grammar. 😂 he's been doing it for years. I also believe he does it to get interaction from viewers to get monetized. 🤷♂️
@@VIPody Wow, the grammar Nazis are in full force
The hammer method worked just fine. That's why he edited out.
Anything's a hammer

SMH.
V UD no sabe usar herramientas manales😂
If YOU'RE using impact drivers, why you can't talk good?
If you’re going to be a grammar grinch, then you should have asked why he doesn’t talk well., :-)
I hate extractors.
Good Video and Demonstration! Keep up the great work!👍🧰😍
Thank you! Will do!
