HyperSonicXtreme thank you. VF2 was really the best game of its time. I always found all of these games a tiny bit clunky in the controls. Vf2 being th least of all. Then soul cal nd d.o.a. . Tekken was always the very most clunky combo system.

I've now started playing Ultimate Showdown and I am finally a big fan of the series after years of just standing by. I hope there will be a Virtua Fighter 6.

@DragonSlayerKyo Some reasons:
1-less content due to the digital delivery
2- the DRM
3- digital delivery limiting the sales of the game, and VF needs to be stronger.
4-It seems poor that with like 10 beat em ups RETAIL in 2011/2012, the best one, VF, arrive only with a cheap edition, like a shovelvare XBLA/PSN game.
VF deserve respect!

Please do a collection of the first 4 Virtua Fighter games so that every Virtua Fighter game can be available on PS5 and PC, similar to the Street Fighter 30th anniversary collection or Samurai Showdown Neogeo collection. Virtua Fighter fans would support this!

If it took them this long, they might as well have made a VF6. :P
Can't wait for this, I'll get it on both systems. I do wish it also had a disc release too though and I hope no content will be cut to get the game to fit.

@HinataChan30 Virtua Fighter isn't a hard system it just take more dedication to learn then others game. And not a lot of people want to too take that time to do.

@NicholasToras01 Actually I remember Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution had a training mode with a tutorial system... I expect VF5 FS also has one
They could up the ante by incorporating sweat, cuts, bruises and torn clothing on the characters as the fights progress
@Trumanime Definitely not. VF's movement system is what sets it apart from Namco games, and is much superior in my opinion.

@VirtuaFighter5R it may be the better idea given the series' current popularity stateside.
@Saur Virtua Fighters system isn't that unique, it's just more a precise then other games. Because some of the moves in VF require such precise timing that it can easily frustrate any common player. The real problem with game is that fact that there are no tutorials for it like there is for other games. Mainly because nobody want to take time to really learn this system because they rather have a system that easy to learn and make it look complicated than a complicated one to look easy.
@RyoGuiRen Granted that VF deserves respect, really. I think that since VF isn't that big outside of Japan that SEGA isn't willing to put the money out for a physical disc. Digital makes it cheaper on them, which is important since (don't quote me on this) they'll be patching it/this will be the latest version of the game.

well i mean joystick on duelshock controller movement, or whatever. dont matter too much tho i guess. just d pad is more difficult to exicute moves. tho its all good either way.
@Saur I've been told by more than a handful of people that VF is "not that hard" if you just try to learn it with an open mind.

The graphics look a lot better, hopefully the game has a better training, one like VF4 because man, it wasnt easy to get into VF5 as a total beginner...
