Just curious, how to you specifically sharpen this one! I’m so used to my Benchmade knives.
Amazing knife
Really will last for years if it's stropped more than sharpened and not used as a chisel, hammer, or pry bar
It'll develop a Patina before it rusts up too much
Thinking of buying up dlts supply, they out perform knives 4x their cost and the reason they're so cheap is because it's over 80% robot made
I use mine for hunting. It's a perfect skinning knife. You absolutely can't beat this knife they are super sharp.
You are very correct, it is really sharp. It would make a good skinning knife.
I just got a hold of this exact knife the other day.
Great video brother. I just picked up a couple of these myself. Thank you.
Thanks for watching John. These are some great knives. I have purchased a second one since this video and mainly use the first one in the kitchen.
Ragweed Forge has these on sale for $8 right now!
I have this knife, also the Kansol . its pure Mora quality, Big Bang for the buck.. leave it to your grandchildren... it's extremely durable, light weight, nice handle
Thanks for watching. I agree, very solid and durable knife.
Dude that looks awesome. I need a blade like that.
It is pretty solid. And for the price, you can’t beat it. I have been using in the kitchen and I’m def going to be buying another one.
Just bought 2 online, for under $10 each. You can't go wrong, considering it's price point and the fact that it's made in Sweden (I'll take products made in Europe over China any day).
are they scandi grind
Just picked one up for $10 on Amazon. Unreal price for a high quality blade.
Thanks for watching Dustin. These are some great knives. I just used this one in the kitchen last night while cooking supper.
Take a stainless steel Mora basic for your car kitchen or survival kid. Don't rust
Basik is actually for construction, but also works well in the forest or the kitchen
I don't have a mora yet but I'm looking to get a kansbul as my main and a basic as a secondary. Seems like they'd go well together.
Like your ryan upchurch intro. My mora 511 should be in the mail tomorrow. I subbed by the way
Thank you so much and I appreciate the comment on the intro. I did change that intro, didn't want any copyright infractions. LOL. So how do you like the knife? Oh and what color scheme did you go with?
@@TheBeardedOutdoorsman18 i dont blame you. I went with the military green color and i love it. Did a mustard patina on it also! 👊
Hi what's the specification difference between stainless steel and carbon steel
Hi!
Greetings from Holland.
I always put a tight elastic cord around the belt clip so i can flip it around the back of the handle.
It can't fall out of the sheath, then.
Thanks for watching and welcome. I have seen that hack before just have never tried it.
Using this knife in my work. I live in sweden and Almost Every company gives this to Their workers. Im a welder/steel worker and stab the slag all the time and using it as a pry bar. Never break one in 11years at work
Thanks for watching. That’s an amazing testimony to the strength of these knives. I knew they were awesome but didn’t know they were that great!!
@@TheBeardedOutdoorsman18 i mean for the price its a good knife. But ofcourse not the best good video sorry for bad English
on the belt clip the hole is for attaching it to a button on your coat or button like a jean jacket you just slite it over the button and it clips in
Thanks for the comment but who wears a jean jacket??
hehe i ware a quilted flannel shirt and it fits on there buttons also

ps do you know mors kochansky this knife was favoredby him but he added 3 holes to attach different lanyards and sharpened the spine and filed off the finger guard his video for these are on youtube
I do not, but after that description I will definitely have to look him up and see this.
Campfire cologne!
I bought one just now for 9.99 edit cant wait to get it
Thanks for watching Elijah. It's a great knife, glad you got a deal. Let me know what you think.
That tang goes only about 2” into the grip. Excellent knives for the price. I have the 511 and the Companion.
Dang, I didn't know that, thanks for the info. But yes, these are great knives for the price. I have purchased a second one not too long ago. Love it. And they hold an edge very well.
The carbon 511 actually goes back 3.5". I've checked with a neodymium magnet
Oh ok. Thank you for that. I appreciate it.
Being that your in a pine forest I'd gamble the wood you made the stake out of is pine
It wasn't pine, it was something that grew voluntarily. It was much harder than pine.
I cut a steak with this knife yesterday, it did beautifully. But it now seems there’s a permanent stain on the blade from said steak
Thanks for watching Bill. It just gives it character. Mine has many stains at this point.
Trim your beard dude it looks awful.
Thanks Aaron. I appreciate the beard advice. I will see what I can do.
Beards nice man. Ignore the weirdos
The Bearded Outdoorsman beards nice yea leave it grow it out like a viking
The beard is killer. Keep it!
