    If you just ran around like crazy, taking the same shots over and over again, while applying some random presets and mixing in some with some quippy commentary, you'd have 500 000 subscribers.
    Alas, you take your time and produce really enviable shots that really not enough people get to see!
    I'm glad I found your channel, albeit very late!!

    Great great advices! This dial is so nice and interesting when you think about all what you can do with it !
    I always underexposed by -1EV my street night pictures, make me have more speed and focused on the light.
    Thanks 👍

    First I just want to say thank you for sharing these amazing tips or advice, you are right, I never use the exposure compensation button, need to start using it and most important, search for light. Thanks once again 👍

    6:53 "I never ever take one image before I play with this knob. Well, I know what some of you will say." I don't think you really knew, or considered that some of us have the minds of 12-year-olds. :-D

    You are on the right track. Don't bother looking for popularity by doing gear reviews. Give us your methods and through processes. That is infinitely more valuable.

    I forgot who told me this when i started photography but they described photographers as "large moths" as they need light and are obsessed with it

    What do you think about high-key/overexpose photos? Do you think they work for street photography for bringing out the dark subject?

  • @242garyp
    @242garyp Před 4 lety

    Hey Olaf great stuff from you as usual :) Some photographers expose for the light, Clarissa Bonet for example to achieve similar results as you recommended under exposing, what are your thoughts about this?
