Are you confusing gigabit and gigabyte? Especially with the filesize and file transfer comparisons - if not, good to state that for people (maybe yourself) that don’t realize that that 8 bits equal 1 byte, and it’s important to understand the difference.
I am not a gamer but I am a very heavy wireless / device user with over 60 connected devices. What I like about the Asus AXE16000 has nothing to do with gaming but the security / configuration ability. I have a TP-link archer AX-11000 and while very fast, it has limits on its whitelisted devices as well as weak security / traffic analysis as well as inferior logging of that traffic. Great basic router for gaming but very weak on configuration unlike the ASUS GT-AX16000. You can also connect over 200 devices to the Asus but only 64 on the TP-Link (57 only would white list).
Will any of these work with sky hub ?
Thanks for this!
Bro: I’m lagging
..
Also bro’s Internet:
In my opinion before selecting a router you need to know your maximum line speed then select a router thats slightly faster. The reason, its a waste of money buying the fastest router available if your max line speed is less than 1mb in the case of adsl like mine. Unfortunately I do not have fiber available in my zone so I'm stuck with dsl for now so almost any modern day router is well capable.
How can I check the maximum line Speed?
@@sshshsshshsh7151 did u find out how to check ?
@@officialsentiment. i didn’t 😭
@@sshshsshshsh7151 whatever you pay for is the max line speed.
Yup. He glossed over many technical details. And I thought he emphasized too much of the same thing about all of them.
Is there anyone good for faster internet to help with cable live tv watching sports and other like movies?
wsp i really need some help i stream and i need to know how to get the best router for my room how can i find that out
Thank you for creating this video of the TOP 5: Best WiFi Router 2023.
I'm glad my Asus RT-AX3000 WiFi 6 Router made the Top 5 and I will get the Asus RT-AX86U - WiFi 6 Router as the central hub for the AiMesh.
Your content is very informative and useful. Your fan and subscriber from Sydney, Australia!
Thanks, I want to know if WiFi also has monthly costs charges
@@Gospel271 the only monthly costs is with the ISP which is standard for everyone if they want to accept the internet. There isn't any other specific cost to the WiFi Router.
How do you like the AX3000? I’m thinking about upgrading to that router
@@ThatGuyAlon good day! I really like Asus AX3000. It is priced well so I ended up buying three units and created a mesh.
Now, everyone is my family has reliable and fast WiFi across the board. No lags or buffering especially when it comes to the kids streaming, either for school or private use.
I have flexible user control as I can create multiple network drives because of having 3 units and security. All the best, mate!
Is the asus rt-ax3000 only WiFi 6 compatible or works with all devices ?
Will work with all devices
They talk like WiFi6 is the latest. WiFi6e is generally available and has the new 6GHz band. TP-Link has the emerging WiFi7, and these should be discussed in any recommend, particularly when talking about future proofing. All these models are optimized for small properties and mesh technology is better for medium and large properties. The TP-Link Deco series and other mesh APs should be considered for large properties as it has excellent mesh technology.
What is the range of the Asus RT-AX87U?
idk if this helps or not as I live in a sort of dead area and only 3g and 4g work down my way, 4g isn't too great as I sometimes lose internet and most of the time get around 1k to 10k ping plus my download speed is at 1 MB which is the faster download speed for me and guess what ... the only supported company down my way is Telstra (In Australia) which at this point, what do I do with my internet???
Doesn’t it need a modem and what is the best modem to pair with the router
Great video, thank you!
can i use a router like a wifi modem?
Do anyone have any idea of a good Wi-Fi extender or just a router for gaming (ps5&xbox series s) fyi the Wi-Fi extender or just the router would be in my room and most likely wouldn’t have a wired connection to my original router I live in a apartment building so I can’t make any holes my budget I 200 to 250
Ac66u B1 router you can use for mesch and it's cheap
TP link archer c6 v4 vs tenda AC21 which is best.
The TP-Link AX6000 must be nearing the end of it's useful life as the manufacturer, TP-Link, has been silently removing features from the router in an effort to push owners into buying new routers.
My guess is that they have a new router about to come out as a replacement.
Unfortunately, as a TP-LINK AX6000 owner, this is a major blunder on their part as I will NEVER ever own another TP-Link product. TP should now be equivalent to "TOILET PAPER" and flushed properly .
TP-link is shift 😂 worst crap ever. I got a router and two switches. Switches never worked much 1 died out of the box less than 30 days. Would not replace it.
I won’t get one either. In the market for a secure device for Starlink set up.
correct tplink is good with range buts its a unsafe brand , i would never buy a tplink.
Updates only first year but afther that nothing more!
Can't agree more, I have bought tplink in the past, too much trouble, bad signal, low speeds, errors in the signal, I bought the ax1800 and it's so bad, was thinking about the ax6000 but tplink is not worth it anymore, gonna go with Asus.
yes better buy a good ac router asus like the ac86u, a ax router can give troubles with google home devives or alexa, or 2 asus for mesch@@fpscracker232
Thanks for this video i want to know if WiFi also has monthly cost charges an if it is how much it cost, I'm in Uganda
Wi-Fi is a wireless networking technology. Not even a subscription thing. I believe you meant internet has a monthly cost? Yes.
You haven't really tested all these did you? You're just reading the manual?
So if the xbox doesn’t have wifi6 will it not connect?
Anything faster then xr1000 nighthawk? I changed from Asus ax11000 it was better then that
Is the ASUS ax11000 good I have xfinity
@@NEMESIOx it’s decent the xr1000 is way better in my opinion and xfinity not a big fan really
Are these routers that u can pay off or have to keep paying for them as long as you use them?
U just keep paying ur internet service and just change the router for the new one ur buying
@@martinaguilar3308so if i’m paying 50 bucks monthly for internet rn, and i buy one of these, i keep paying $50 monthly?
I have Comcast xfinity One of these routers would work with them
they all work.
Do you pay bills foe these?
Is it completely free after you buy the router?
Im getting 2g fiber hooked up soon im assuming all these can handle 2g or better?
You have a typo in the model #. It is listed wrong
Asus RT-AX86U should be Asus RT-AX68U. There is also Asus RT-AC86U. Which one do you mean?
Yes he made mistake.its the ax86u
Are these routers like the routers where you put a 5g sim card and you can have internet like that ?
No
Is it ok to get a used Netgear nighthawk???
I wouldn't go for Nigtgear. They have bad customer service. I also was not happy with this brand when I had mine.
None of these reviews cover the MOST important spec: How fast are the WIRED WAN connections? That is how most of us will be connecting.
Wired Ethernet connection to most of these routers include at least one 2.5Gb/5Gb port, assuming your end device supports those speeds. But you are asking WAN speed - so that is really determined by the modem you plug into for your home internet. Most home ISPs offer up to 1Gb, so you would only get up to that. If you need more than 1Gb speeds between devices, LAN or WAN, might I suggest moving to fiber optic from copper interfaces - this requires the use of switches, WiFi will be a major choke point otherwise.
Most???
Thank you, that’s what i was going to comment as well
Then make your own video
You need to realize that your preference has no effect on everyone else’s “most important” spec.
Please correct your Megabits per second and Megabytes per second. You are saying "900 Megabits per second", but the video is displaying "900MBPS", which is confusing.
MBPS = Megabytes per second
Mbps = Megabits per second
Rural gamer here no fiber or cable connections. Only 5g phone tower providers will these routers help with connectivity and speeds
Nope. Wifi router needs to be connected with a WAN port. All the time. Without it, there will be no internet connection.
@@cerberusx_ That is correct. You have to be connected to a central hub through an ISP for the fastest internet possible. Mobile Wireless is only as good as the provider in the area. All that it is like is your doing things on WiFi but with mobile data. Sorry man that stinks but good luck and hope someone comes out and gets you internet in your area. just not optimum/suddenlink please no.
I have a printer that works on 2.4g but a laptop with 5g. I need a router to stay on 2.4. I need a reliable network.
all these routers have separate 2.4g and 5g and 6g. You can assign specific devices to use either 2.4 or 5 or 6. For example, I have all my smart devices connected to my asus 2.4g band and the rest like ipad, smartphone, laptop to 5g.
Someone tell me the best that goes in my room?
Just bought the Asus RT-AX58U AX3000 router today. It's awesome to see it's considered to be the best value for the money.
My Internet is flying compared to the 6 year old dinosaur that I was using.
Thanks for a nice video on this topic.
not the dinosaur 😭💀💀
Can we use different routers even tho I’m using cox internet
Hey I'm currently using an ATT router, so I can replace that router with this one and it works the same right?
does the wifi range reach far ?
@@leeroy5665 You should be fine yes. Sorry I just seen your comment.
Do u have to pay the bills every month!
No 👍
@@TMDangerMouseso then how do they work, do they just extend the wifi or produce there own
@@Zym.6Xzz These are routers only, so you'll need a modem, so depending on your internet provider, the routers they send you for free when you sign up, some can be switched to a modem mode only, thus leaving the new router (connected via ethernet cable) to do the WiFi duties, or you can buy a modem only and connect it to one of these new routers.
Once you've bought one of these routers there are no extra fees needed unless you want to sign up to some form of extra service offered, but 99% of the time it's not needed.
"Gaming port" omg ...
I have cox internet how would that work
You can get a coax to ethernet converter

No. I live in the forests. Whats your best pick for that scenario?
This channel promotes netgear. Them saying it’s good shows they know nothing or this is a paid for review. Either way this channel is a waste of time because you can’t trust them.
Could you possibly elaborate? Not denying you're right just curious, are they bad routers or is netgear a shady company?
@@garrettyoung8154 if you want overrated, overpriced equipment that’s not user friendly and does roughly 1/2 of what it says and hate yourself buy netgear.
