@@CapCasts boo! So either Austin's kicking Avery or they're joining up with some larger org that doesn't have the ability to only listen to things but must have visuals. These days I'm consuming my cable tv news as podcasts during commute.
Calendar congestion is a real big issue in so many sports. Dota is clearly no exception; I suspect the best teams will have to chose to skip events in order to head off the burnout that SVG describes. Great insight as always.
You have to factor in that with this many events, there will be less pressure on teams and how they process losses. Lots of teams go to LANs and take losses extremely hard because there are so few opportunities to play. But with more tournaments, teams can take it a bit easier mentally and grow faster.
Honestly, im kinda surprised with the amount of tournaments and im also scared because the hype is not there. I thought dota is honestly dying and now there are like 8 tournaments per year. Are those tournaments profitable for organizers? I mean they only make money from ads but I feel like nobody cares about those ads and nobody is buying shit but maybe im wrong.
Yo guys I think those tournaments today like dreamleague and maybe also PGL are kinda boring in a way we dont see any emotions from players. ESL was better in that way with trash talks before game but they could do much more fun stuff also. I feel like those online tournamnets like dreamleague are lacking hype. I would love to see for instance walkouts of players in arena before everygame like we saw at ESL finale. And more interview, also those interviews are kinda boring today. Just lack of emotions unlike you see in diffrent sports. Its like we dont know nothing about the players and their personalitys. I hope organizers would maybe start creating those player profiles like on old TIs. Another aspect I noticed in ESL sometime cameraman dosnt show players reactions after big lose. Those are moments i found interesting not just the game.
SVG finally snapped and did the Shopify rant everyone wanted to do. That musta felt good.
I can listen to SVG all day. Dude could have had a carrer in stand-up comedy
22:40 cap unknowingly predicts the Nine stand in lol

Unfortunately that won't be coming as we'll have a related announcement for that sometime after Wallachia

Ah, another episode of Pardon the Interuption: DotA Edition
Whitemon kinda doing fine with Tundra 😤
When are you inviting Kyle to one of these?
DreamLeague's production always been amazing. Sad that they're a bit underappriciated because of their moderate prize pools.
I like how Cap treats SVG as an expert yet he's consistently better than him at actual predictions
Nice! 👍
Who got kicked? I'm at work I can't listen to this yet

enjoyed this channel recently, but i agree adding timestamps would help viewers filter unnecessary topics.
