I hope that you guys enjoyed this video of me sharing the top 5 best free video editing apps of 2020 for iPhone and other Apple devices. I really wanted to share what I thought were the best video editing apps for iPhone since you guys enjoyed my version of the best video editors for PC. Each of these free video editing apps have their own pros and cons which I will be covering, and hopefully by the end of this video you can find the best free video editing app that you can use on your iPhone or iPad! With these free video editors, you should be able to easily make and edit videos for CZcams as well.
When deciding the top 5 best free video editing apps for iPhone and iPad, I wanted to create some criteria so that every video editing app is evaluated equally and fairly. I ensured that every single video editor met the following criteria:
1. Each app must have a fully-functioning free version that allows you to make videos for CZcams (e.g. allow you to edit clips, add effects and music, etc..)
2. Each of the top 5 best free video editing apps must allow you to export without any watermarks on the actual video
3. Each of the top 5 free video editing apps must work on older iPhones as well (in this case, I tested two generations prior with the iPhone XR)

4:32 iMovie: This is a great mobile video editor made by Apple that is totally free at the compromise of a few features. This is the best free video editing app for iPad in terms of optimization in my opinion. However there is no support for multilayer editing. 5:42 Splice: This free video editing app is perfect for iPhone and iPad users that want a video editor that has a lot of features while being user-friendly. You cannot access their music and effects in the free version (but can still adjust clips and add filters and sound effects). 6:22 GoPro Quik: The simplest and most fun editor on this list. You can make CZcams videos in 1080P 60FPS but the features available are optimized for action footage. You can still add clips, text, stickers, effects and royalty-free music and there are no restrictions. Great vid and tips; you may not be checking this because it’s two years old, but I’m working with Splice, based on your suggestion. I’m finding it versatile, and pretty easy to use, but it’s SO SLOW! i edit and it takes forever to register the change and get going. I just think it’s very clunky, although very easy to use. On Splice you need to buy PRO to save videos. So don’t waste your time on editing in free version cuz you won’t be able to export/save them in the end
