Ah, the "unique trait" is a bug, it has no such feature. This is what the Lesion has so whatever DE did to add to add the special trait feature to the lesion, carried over to this weapon somehow. No unique effect :/ It does seem to have a chance to proc toxin on slam attacks though since the slam attacks are pure toxin but eh.
either way the build is still solid, the blast is so nice for ruining enemy accuracy. and applying 11 status gives some silly dps in a non serious way.
if the unique trait is a bug then it'll likely not last for long@@wellplayedninjas
Great video keep up the w upload
Prisma Obex is pretty cool right now, the augment applies magnetic AOE, and slam attacks deal electric so there's a few different things to try with it.
It also has the fastest attack speed in the entire game.
@wellplayedninjas ... do your thing!!
Looking forward to the 4th ability video!
This is one of those dozen or so weapons in this game that i legit just forget exists since there are so many. I remember using it before and found it interesting that it had viral but it didn't seem too useful. Plus i never really liked melee in this game and once i got a falcor riven and decided to maximize the weapon as a joke only to realize it was amazing, i have not used anything else lol.
I didn't even know it had any kind of special effect. Even the wiki displays no information about that bonus attack speed and "toxin" damage bonus, showing how little the weapon was used.
Nice build, can you swap out Primed Flow for Archon Flow? This can give you some extra energy orbs.
This should be interesting.
So you just made the Captain planet of melees. Nice.
So hypothetically if I somehow got my pupacyst to do Blast, Radiation, Viral, Corrosive in the same built then this. Concept would either work work well or not at all?..
ngl i dreaded leveling Pupacyst because it looked ugly. but when i saw its unique passive and realized i had the Synoid skin i gave it a try. free viral is a neat plus. also you made me want to fight more Sisters because those Hound mods look sick
i mean, anything that is armor stripped is gonna die with a bunch of damage, unless you want to use a glaive prime then you dont have to worry about that XD
I like your frost
4 augment Frost will define the new future

This……is the future…BUNDUNAHNUHNUHNUH
Good game ! Very fun and concept build (no offense to the guys "but you can use your sword if you armor strip them" but it's boring). I thought we could also use Zaw's Plague Kripath, what do you think?
The mod weighting can be applied to anything. This really could have been 3 different videos. But i smushed it in to one. I used pupacyst because its a long forgotten weapon. Use what ever melee you want. Kripath is also innate viral!
What's the name of the ephemera you are using for your Frost warframe?
Vengeful Chill
MK1 Bo can do the same with those mods when you armor strip.
It actually cant
Anything frost is cool to me, but all the stats are too close to base, the frost build and weapon build can get tankier and more crit.
You use Frost + Pupacyst, I use Ember + Keratinos.
We are the same.
Git well soon dude.
Oh nice! Thats actually really funny
So my random riven buying all these years paid off lol. I have a cd cc dmg neg infested riven for that
Pupacyst was supposed to be an Infested Speargun and noone can convince me otherwise
Polearms finally reached the meta! Only took 10 years xD
Should’ve been here 4-6 years ago
Lol I transmuted my pupa riven
@5:15 blud didn't know about the HCET 💀
Yea I may be LG 2, but im still learning alot about the games inner mechanics. This channel and comments i receive have taught me so much! Im grateful. I have a decent understanding of the game and it hopefully makes me relatable to some players.
Frost main here, the build is really nice but I would change up a couple of things.
First, nourish is probably a stronger subsume as it provides more than just the viral value, it also gives the viral knockdown effect (small added defensive buff) and the energy multiplier. Adding viral directly means you can build for a different combo element and have this added on.
Freeze force is alright, but also means you have to leave freeze, I personally take ice wave impedance and subsume over freeze. The 75% slow applies to near everything, so you can slow acolytes and eximus units even when they have overguard, it even slows demolysts and they can't purge the slow. This does have a poor interaction with the melee arcane in that the pull is slower, but if you only use it for acolytes or demolysts this shouldn't be an issue.
Breach surge is also an option, as your melee is doing such big hits the sparks will be chunky, and they use the crit stats from the augment for some reason.
As for how bonus elements work with melee, in general they add as if they are an extra mod in the last slot of the weapon. If there is an open element at the end of the mod order they combine there, else they will merge into an earlier modded combo on the item. The new rad mods are awkward, I don't know how they work.
Again, good build and thanks for the video. Nice to see a forgotten/underused weapon get some attention.
This build is weird on purpose in almost any other circumstance, id run those subsumes, i was just trying to crank this polearm to 11, hehe 11 status’, 4 augments are ridiculous to ask in a build. Your insight on the added mod value confusion is really helpful, thanks! 🙏
i just tried breach surge over shock trooper and its AWESOME, great suggestion!
@@wellplayedninjas it's a fun bit of frost tech as breach surge can crit. In base steel path you might find casting surge first, then avalanche, is enough to kill everything around you.
Does make the energy costs harder, so arcane steadfast is a decent option, and mystic bond on your pet, this nets you a lot of free casts.
Thanks again for the video.
What’s the ephemera
Vengeful Chill, kuva lich epherma

So this is not so much "amazing Pupacyst build" but more of "Frost Synergy build" using Volt's subsumed ability.
i was looking at the Pupacyst thinking "oh, it does impact, what if i do Shattering Impact instead of the riven?" Then i examined the build and realized the riven would have to be changed out for either attack speed or range, but the build may be meant to synergize with Frost specifically and/or a warframe that can armor strip things easily.
At no point did you showcase what the Pupacyst can do on it's own against armored enemies.
The thumbnail is a dead giveaway, plus if im reviewing a weapon i state in the title its a build & review of X weapon.
