  • In this video, we explore the significant decision made by the United Methodist Church in the Ivory Coast to leave the denomination. This departure follows controversial changes at the 2024 General Conference, which redefined the church's stance on marriage and sexual behavior. With over 1.2 million members, this move represents a major shift within global Methodism, potentially setting a precedent for other conservative regions in Africa. What could mean for the future of the United Methodist Church worldwide?

If you haven't subscribed, consider it. I expect more news like this in the coming weeks.

They didn't leave the church. The church left them.

The African members were right to do so. Those in authority in the UMC dont care about traditional Bible believers or what God has to say. They are too busy focusing on what the world has to say. They totally ignored the Book of Discipline with no consequence.

I'm thankful that over 1 million could see the evilness of staying in a denomination that respects society's whims over God's Word. God is watching.

  • @ontoanewlife

I left the UMC two years ago over their promotion of immorality and disregard of the Bible. My husband stayed because he valued his relationships with his UMC friends. I currently have no church but I cling to God and the Bible. Just my little story. I am 89. My husband is 93.

As a child I attended a Methodist Church. It was 100% on fire for God and His word. It is no longer the church that introduced me to my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. To all UMC pastors, God WILL NOT be mocked!

  • @realitywins6457

Sounds like the US UMC is really the ones that left

  • @googoo-gjoob

if GOD says its a sin...... your opinion doesnt matter

  • @ccaden7539

Good for the African Methodist church! They don't owe the UMC anything! God bless them and their decision to follow God's word and not the liberal UMC.

God’s Church needs to stand firm against all unbiblical teachings. Read Romans chapter 6 - 8.

  • @thomastessier4529

Praise the Lord. Stand strong in the Word and DO NOT bow down to the world, we know who runs that.

If you're going to say you're a Christian church then you're obligated to live the commands and avoid the evil clearly stated in the Bible. If not then don't call yourself Christian.

Woke destroys everything it touches !

~In the four Gospels, Jesus refers to God as Father over 165 times…

  • @corym8358

Not surprising. That denomination is just a feel-good social club now. It has gone the way of the Episcopalians.

  • @ChristopherJWeeks

Way to go! Finally, some people taking Revelation 21:8 seriously!!!!!

  • @wadeunderhile7977

God bless the real Christians in Africa. We the Christians of this world cannot pick and choose which scripture we obey .

  • @Contextool-g1b

The only growing UMC were those of the African Continent. Right move!

  • @LostsTVandRadio

When a denomination is 'tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men' it's a joy to hear of the many faithful African Christians who know they have an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
