You’re awesome! I’m just curious do your eyes feel sore or achy at the end of the night due to the repetitive circular/shaking that happens like it shows in this video? Genuinely curious, and if it’s too personal or if this is offensive to ask I’m sorry!
I think you asked the question in a respectful way. 😊 I can’t remember her ever talking specifically about the eye shaking (can’t remember the technical term) but my dad has the same thing (not blind) and he says he doesn’t even notice it. I’d be interested to hear what Mollys experience is though! Have a great day.
She made a video about it a few months back. In my own words, she said shes been having to control it this whole time. More to make others comfortable and to seem "less blind". And that it actually leaves her eyes so exhausted at the end of the day trying to keep them still and center all the time. And she said shes losing the ability to control it as much. But she wanted to feel comfortable not doing that bc she would do it more for others.
Everyone is different, my friend has this and he takes meds to stop it happening so much become it gives him migraines but they area sure if its caused by the muscle movement or disorientation because he still has some vision left so he can see the shaking
I generally don't like smart devices because of the issue of privacy but as a disabled person they're really helpful. I use one to control my air purifier (some smells give me headaches/nausea) and one to control the light in the living room. It's really helpful to not have to get up all the time to do stuff
I have hue lights, my blind friend loves them as she can set the exact colour and brightness that works best for her sight, can change it on oversensitive days, and can turn them off and on using her phone or my smart speakers
If you scroll through her old video's she has one showing how she uses her phone and the fact she can read comments and navigate youtube, with a screen reader. Look it up their's a lot of videos on youtube on how the blind can use youtube, hell I'm blind myself and I was able to not only read but comment to you.
@@Paulinasceramicboutique Actually she isn't legally blind anymore, but rather completly blind but still having light perception. Those that are labeled legally blind by medical profesionals isbecuase their eyesight can no longer be corrected by glasses or contacts and falls below 200, those who fall in the legally blind catogery are those that although their vision is bad enough that they can be xonsider blind, they still have usable vision that allows them to see maybe a bit or if they have magnifiers. Molly does not fall in this catogery since she has explained that other than light and shadows along with the colors that explode in her vision, her usable vision is no longer that usable for her to see a bit that would land her as being legally blind.
Nice to see the things you do and a place you go. I haven’t had eyesight in over 30 years. Most of the ones who are blind or visual impairments far as I know of don’t really get very much of this information. It’s nice to find things that you can’t find that you need it. The nest thermostat is on my list, then will have to look up those motorized blinds. I’m sure the fireplace will be nice but it’ll be a while. I’m glad to see you putting out these videos and having different multiple things that you share besides the blindness clothes cat Nadal I forget their name offhand, but I love to read the comments. When other Cher re what colors you’re wearing and what things look like it’s just fills in all of the gaps for you when you don’t have eyesight. Thanks for being there and hope to see you in many more videos. I like your Miami video. I haven’t seen that place in 50 years. I was born in Miami Beach. I have relatives there, that everybody in the city know who they are❤
Does the fireplace have a built-in safety feature that will turn it off after X amount of time and/or if it gets too hot??? Otherwise I would be afraid of potentially forgetting about it and causing a fire.
I dont use blinds. I keep my windows covered bec sun HURTS my eyes so bad. sun slips through but I do my best to avoid it. sunglasses don't really help much including special ones I got when im outside I end up with one eye closed trying to get around. people don't realize how painful light is and how it bounces off EVERYTHING remotely shiny and right into my eyes..PAIN. is the fireplace actually giving you heat?
U should get talking scales I saw them at buddy dogs and I’m going to get a buddy dog soon I’m hoping for a boy The dogs I met were all boys Charlie my favourite Teddy to food motivated Ashley he was ok but not quite playful enough and I didn’t like his name it doesn’t suit a dog 😂 but my mums uncle who she never met was called Ashley so that’s kinda funny
Every time I watch your videos that now start with the words " I'm blind", I think of how you said that you don't only want to be known for you disability and for being blind.. now you start every video with saying that.. 😅
It's not every video, just the shorts, that go to a wider audience and not everyone follows her longer videos, so it's important to state that she's blind for the context of the video
@Júlia Ellert Souza I completely get why she does it.. now that I think of it and that you pointed it out to me. I just figured that it was redundant saying that when she said in her CZcams videos that she wanted to be set apart from just being blind. Thank you for helping me clear that up, not looking to spread hate, just for understanding as to why she does this!
@DanSgambelluri you just keep asking why i asked if the stylist was blind. I simply wanted to know. You’re looking for something deeper but it was a simple question. Get a life
Creating and upkeeping the compatibility of an entire smart ecosystem all on your own is a bigger pain in the butt than you think it is. She has deliberately set up her home to be cross-compatible with things that already work.
Your eyes look extra shaky in this video, I know you said sometimes that happens when you’re stressed or tired, so I hope you’re feeling alright ❤
It could just be involuntary nystagmus as well

make sure all your smart home devices are on a separate vLAN, this reduces your risk of being hacked

Bixby routines and the like must help too. Having things be done automatically as the sun rises and goes down is great
This is so smart! Love that you have these products to help you!
Ooh that fireplace is beautiful!

What do you do if the Internet goes down and you can't use alexa. Can you still control them just with your phone
She’s blind she’s not gonna see this comment bro
@@lfe_time_humor8045 She can still read comments. She has a screen reader.
Of course she can see the comment. Her phone reads her the screen in her ear. By the way she legally blind but, she can see light.

LovelyOne!!!! Always!!!! With Lovely Cute Dog!!!! Always!!!!
You can get thermostats that are Alexa controlled. I haven't touched my thermostat for a year.
Does anyone know where her top is from? It looks so cute and comfy!
I am legally blind and added wifi to all lights, fans and the a/c. I use google.
A back up wifi and energy source to keep it all functional
You are stunning molly love you and love your videos long or short
As a disabled person, I love Alexa!
I want to make my current Samsung oven Alexa compatible
How does all this function in a power outage? That would stress me out!

Kind of an odd question from a friend's paralyzed daughter:
Who is more handicapped accessible between Canada, and america?
Anyone see her eyes

Such a rude question. There is no excuse for being shallow and hateful. I appreciate everything about you Molly!

Get rid of Alexa... Theres a start.. There are other options that dont spy on you...

You are activly being spied on by whatever you typed this comment on.
