I was privileged to sit under Packer's teaching for a whole solid week back in '98 as he inaugurated our Doctor of Ministry program. One phrase that he often used, whether speaking a word of caution regarding charismatic gifting or other teaching about what we may expect as Christians in this life, is something he called an "overly-realized eschatology." I'm sure this lesson was imprinted on his soul as the Lord delivered him from the Keswick theology of Christian perfection, which produced only despair in him, and led him to the truth, and therefore peace, compliments of John Owen.

While i really enjoyed this i must say the shot at the Young Restless and Reformed was unnecessary as i believe an encouraging extorting word in love to the upcoming Young and Restless Reformed would help for them not to close their minds to the message.
