I don't know, Lewis always seemed a little Catholic to me. I cannot explain it other than to say his writings have a Catholic flavor to them. The same with Radio Bible Class ministry, I always wondered how they were able to produce their videos in Jerusalem/Israel without suffering persecution and then I came to the conclusion: they must be Catholic, because Jews and Muslims have little problem getting in bed with Catholics. And, if you look at RBC/DB videos you will notice footage promoting many Catholic traditions/feasts/celebrations, alongside Muslim and Jewish traditions/feasts/celebrations. Having been seeped in the RCC since my youth (parochial school and strict attendance of all church functions, events, celebrations) I am uber-sensitive to its scent (can't even watch Father Brown without my skin crawling). Side note: the Narnia series gives me the creeps.
This is such a woefully ignorant statement, I’m convinced you hide Jack Chick tracts in gas station bathrooms. When you are so myopic that you can only receive from your echo chamber that you created for yourself, your mental/emotional/spiritual depth has got to be that of a mud puddle and just as undrinkable.
