    Can you suggest a warm up exercise to help with flexibility? I find it very challenging to keep my hands flat together while bringing them behind my head. Thank you for the video!

    In squat position I can't bring my arms up straight and especially when getting my arms behind the head my head comes forward. Which part of my body should I strengthen to do this rightly? And I have 10 degrees scoliosis in my lumbar region. Is it okay for me to do this practice?

    Was it difficult for you in the beginning to extend arms straight up from squated position? It is nearly impossible for me to extended them upwards in that position, is this normal? They are usually not going straight up when i do manage to extend then, they go at a bit of a forward angle

      Yes. There is lot of Shoulder opening which is needed to achieve this. However with consistent practice it starts taking place.

    Hello
    Is it compulsory to keep my feet completely on the ground when I'm kneeling? If I do, it's impossible for me to put my arms back without moving my head forward. Can I lift my heels a bit when I'm squatting instead of putting them on the floor?

      Initially u might face challenge because of lack of mobility. Keep a rolled sheet for support below heels for support. Slowly you with practice you will see it's not needed 🙏

      So I've been doing this for over a month.. Still can't raise arms above head when in squat and neck wants to drop forward.

    Does it matter what time of the day this is done? I’ve heard that yoga is not supposed to be done between 9am and 4pm. Please advice. Thank you.

      For wellness perspective only thing you need to make sure is that there is 2.5 - 3 hrs of gap after last meal before doing intensive yoga flow like yog namaskar

    Right now I'm using support to squat down as my heels keep lifting up whenever I try to squat.Will I be able to get rid of the support with practice?Any tips on how to make the heels touch the ground when squatting?

      Definitely if you keep practicing you will gain flexibility in hip flexors and them your heels will land properly.
      You can also practice butterfly pose to help with hip opening

    Hello and Namaskaram @Yog4Lyf , I appreciate the desire and willingness to share this beautiful and powerful practice imparted by sadhguru, but it will be much more beneficial for your viewers if you could guide them to the video put up on the official youtube channel of sadhguru :) because these are powerful practices and have lot of nuances in them, we never speak in between doing the practices, so whenever you want to share ,its best to share your experience or very short clips and always direct people to learn the actual practice from the official video ,where its taught by the classical hatha yoga teachers. Remember that whats powerful if done or taught improperly can have repercussions. :) Thanks.

    What should I do if i can not squat?? Can I just go as far as I can and work on getting to the ground.

      Yes.. Also place a rolled towel below your feet it will help you balance

    how come you do only two excersises? is that enough? when i train, i do pull ups, push ups, squats. Also i train for like two hours a day and after a meal immediately. So what is such a big deal about your few exercises?

      Thank you for detailed query with proper points.
      There are multiple things involved here.
      #1 What are you training for. If you are an athelete or sportsmen you might need tough training.
      #2 Yog Namaskar is not end of world yogic flow. But it is an alternative which is sufficient enough for ones wellness.
      #3 Also if you try this it is not as easy as it might look when done with proper breathing and technique
      I hope i am able to share my view here.

      Yes initially balancing challenges can be there. You can keep folded yoga mat or thick carpet for support below your feet. It will definitely help. And as you grow into the practice you will be able to remove it

    I have two questions. First; A series consists of 7 steps. Are we going to do 3 series to make it 21? Or will we do 21 series?
    My second question. If we do squash, is that 21 times? Does it replace Namascara? Can the results be achieved if the feet are not adjacent?

      3 series is good enough. 21 series will be too much strenuous. Feet can be slightly outwards for balancing purposes

    It would be better if you shared Sadhguru’s video and directed people to the original source. Teaching yoga incorrectly can cause harm to yourself and others. It’s disheartening to see people not appreciating what they’ve been given and attempting to exploit it.

    So many corrections,
    1. you should not be speaking while demonstrating.
    2. Thumbs should be touching the rest of the palms
    3. Hands should be coming down behind your back in a straight manner.
    4. Feet should not move while doing practice.

      I’m sayin I fell down 3x and was no where as near deep not even breathing in and out at the right times lol, what support excercises should I do I can’t do that

      @@captnt3rror Start practicing exercises for hip flexors.... Titli asana and hindola asana are great place to start. For mobility you will need ankle and knee warm up exercises

    Isha trained teachers never teach like this. Please remove this video and don’t try and emulate what you have not fully experienced nor been certified to teach. Your guidelines are incorrect and lacking in so many ways. Isha Hatha Yoga Teachers spend 1750 hours, nearly 6 months of their life in an intense immersion into a living experience of classical hatha yoga. We are trained in aspects of yoga which are almost entirely extinct. Please respect Classical Hatha Yoga, Sadhguru and leave it to the real teachers 🙏🏼 Classical Hatha Yoga is and must be taught with absolute precision.
