I've gotten to Home Depot on a couple of occasions where the order was not ready when I get there. But the HD employees tend to pull the order very quickly. The longest I've had to wait so far was about 15 minutes at a Discount Tire store.
Glad you are having such good luck with Roadie. Me not so much. This past Friday I was somewhat close to a TSC that needed a delivery in the area where I live. I expected someone to take before got there but they hadn't. When I was 10-15mins. from TSC, I put in my request. I was there in 10mins. It was a medium load, 4 items. My SUV can easily handle. 15, then 20 mins go by no approval. The request then disappears from the app. I think they cancel or someone assigned. The manager didn't know what happen and he check his computer and no one had been assigned. I kept refreshing the map, and the delivery came back on the map, I immediately put my request in again. 15, 20mins. go by again no approval. After, 15mins. TSC mgr. tries to get on Roadie Chat in his computer, ask why the driver standing at his desk hasn't been assigned. The CS agent never answered the question and just drops off. TSC mgr. tried to call them on the phone and is told heavy volume and gives up. I had no luck with chat sessions on my end either. I had been in the store for almost an hour when he refreshed his computer to check assignments. Someone, from 30 miles away had been assigned according to his screen. I thanked the manager for his time, and left TSC very disappointed.
Roadie is really solid in my area but I have a truck and trailer and a lot of tractor supply orders come in and pay incredibly well. 200$ to deliver 1500 pounds of horse stall mats 7 miles
Roadie orders not always ready, I had a UHAUL store pick up, they made me wait in line, then they picked the order of boxes and packing supplies with me, took about 30/40 minutes to get out of this UHAUL store.
Just tried Roadie this evening on the way home. Seen a script for 2 miles that paid about $18 on my way home from work. I was denied the gig. No idea why... All my stuff was completed. Only thing I can guess is someone else was hitting it up with an actual rating and I don't have one as I'm new.
In My area it was pretty ridiculous to go 11 miles to home depot drive another 5 miles and pay was 8 dollars. 😂 I will keep looking at it but i just dont get it .
Roadie is trash unless you have a trailer.. it’s generally .25 - .50 a mile on pay.. The airport runs are a scam considering everything involved with airport congestion, parking, multiple bags, loading and toting the heavy bags, etc. Roadie is definitely winning when it comes to profiting for themselves
I'm in a beef with Roadie right now. Let them see my negative posts. They've locked my account with no conversation and it's got me pretty pissed off. Have driven for them for a few years now and got locked with no effort on their part to understand what the issue was. I don't understand their behavior with a driver who's had a flawless record with them for years.
Great video. I have a question about personal orders. Can customers adjust tips on these orders? I'm in Indianapolis and we have these come in on a daily basis. most of these are around 60 bucks but it has you doing a task for the customer and spending your own moola and its covered by a 50 dollar tip that you have to spend half of that on. now with the trip fee and remaining tip you are left with about 25 to 35 bucks. Has anyone ran into issues taking these orders? I'm very skeptical taking these because Roadie allows the customer to adjust the tip you just worked for nothing...
Great videos! I travel about 250 miles weekly across state lines from my town and looking for delivery gigs. Can I do with Roadie or other apps? Help ! Thank u.
Wanted to try it out but can't even get past the set up screens because the part where I have to use the app to take a picture of the front and back of my driver's license keeps bugging out and telling me I have to either use a darker background or have more light in the room but with less glare- huh? I've used multiple dark background surfaces and different lighting configurations but it won't accept the picture! Some reviews on the app store said the same thing.
Unfortunately I understand 😕. Illinois doesn't have manned both and it requires a ez pass or registration of your plates. Sadly, a extra step is going to be required. Record the trip id # and report to customer service. For tolls and parking, you can email Roadie at support@roadie.com with the Support ID and the ticket. As long as it is 15 days from the gig it can be reimbursed. Hopefully you can get receipt via ez pass before then. I hope this helps. 🙂
Yeah they are a little bit advertised. There are some things that need to be worked on in there app. They have gotten way cheaper especially U p s took over. It went from the app sucking so bad to now it's just sucking altogether. They were better off being private.
The payment definitely wasn't much better since UPS. It's gone considerably down or maybe this has been done purposely on behalf of u p s. But the rates yeah they are garbage.
No it is not always ready maybe in the perfect world but not where I'm at oh the order Not ready oh it hasn't been picked a 1/2 an hour goes by in to an yet. It still goes on even before u p s this is still been going on In these places just like Uber oh go to wait 5 10 15 minutes. Yeah that does happen a lot. It's ridiculous. It's stupid don't have anybody pick up stuff if it ain't ready to be picked up And they're not always going. To be ready? Just be aware of that I have at least three years experience In this. And it's gotten worse on top of The very low embarrassing rates.
Roadie isn't great in Tampa. Waited 45 mins at a Walmart last week and Roadie doesn't give any extra payment. Mainly cheap Walmart and home depot jobs in Tampa.
Roadie is a WASTE OF TIME!!! I’ve waited 2 hours at a pickup spot (for items that definitely fit in my rig) only to get rejected. More than half of all the gigs I submitted offers for had me wait AT LEAST 1 HOUR, only to get rejected. To top it off, IF you offer is accepted, its definitely a Low-Ball Payout at the end of the day. Not worth your time, gas, or mileage making yourself available for gigs without ANY access to a driver help-line. The little “chat” they call your help-line is a whole scandal! If you make it withstand the waiting queue without leaving the app or turning off your phone screen, you get nothing but automated responses and they will leave the chat on you if you respectfully request answers to your questions/concerns.
Sometimes you need to break the ice. Take a less desirable job that is short and establish your account. I noticed that when starting.... its like getting credit with no credit record. Best of luck my friend

I've had to wait several times for orders at Home Depot. Once for 30 minutes and once for 45 minutes at which time I canceled the order.

I do an average of 1 roadie a day at about 25$. My market is small.
1 or 2 a day seems my average lately as well.
Just finished my first delivery. Good stuff! 👍🏼
Glad your here.
Thanks for the info on this app. It was very in depth and helpful!
Sure thing 👍. Thanks for being here KB.

Thanks for sharing Dwayne.
How much you make? Time period?
Awesome video thank you for the breakdown. Can you please do more videos on Roadie and how you get selected for more orders?
Done and done!
Thank you for the videos that you put out Is very helpful
Glad you like them!
Is there a way to speed up the process to Spark Delivery I've been waiting for about 3 months now And the same Pick up point
I am new to Spark, but want to do more gig work. Who do you suggest for a new person such as myself
BTW great video. For roadie do they tell you on the request what the items are that you will be transporting?
Thanks. They almost always tell you sizes, weight and the item names are 50/50. Walmart orders don't tell you any details though.

Wow. I have never seen a roadie driver have issues. Have been driving for Walmart spark 🙄 ?
@@themidwestexpress Roadie now runs Walmart deliveries here in Austin sooo, not an option at the moment.
Happy New Year 🎉
Same to you! Thanks for being here.

Yeah, it happened to me as well... but after a few attempts I was able to get it done.
How can I claim the toll that I cross with ez pass if the toll transaction has not been clarified when I have completed the delivery?

Sure you guys were…..sure you guys were….
Roadie is virtually nonexistent in my area
Wow, Roadie hardly has anything here in Ohio...🙁
czcams.com/video/MjJgKFAm0p8/video.html this may help? Hopefully so.
That's probably a good thing..

Go bears
Trash they never select me for anything in California I can be right across the street from a pick-up and they never give me the Trip

I seen a roadie today for $37 6 miles 900 pounds!
😆 Yeah.... However, I am guessing that increased before someone took it1
Roadie is the worst app, they pay so little, you have to bge a fool to waste your time on it.
