With how slow Uber has been in Charleston and how I haven't been chosen for quests in over a year, it's been encouraging me to finish faster. Thank you for your channel, its been a big help
John I agree with everything you've said. Been doing this 5 years part time and I have found the pay to have decreased each year. A few months post covid, I have notice the gradual decline. I feel for those drivers who rely on this full time. I believe many will return to a W2, they'll have no choice. This will be my last year doing gig work and I'll be retiring from my regular job at the end of this year. So I'll be joining you in retirement! On a more macro level, it seems like there is an impending doom economy wise. Inflation has raised prices so high and government won't/can't stop spending. I think the current admin will keep things fairly stable until the election but all hell is going to break loose in November regardless who wins. It's going to be really bad for everyone, especially gig workers
Since you want to go overseas, have you ever thought about doing something online? The remote world is just as filled with people who want you to work for free, but maybe with a certification there a niche for you...
I…am..a..FULL TIME gig worker… I hate part-time gig workers that work at night and make 60 bucks in two hours and then want to teach you how to make $30 an hour 😂😂
