- Majora's mask is my favorite Zelda game along with ocarina of time! The dark story, the mysterious atmoshpere and the forthcoming moon crush gave a truly unforgettable experience to the game! Here is the legendary clock tower bell sound!

The fact that you can hear the bells of clock town chiming no matter where you are tells you that, just like the sound of the bells, the moon will reach every places on Termina no matter how far they are and consume it, consume everything.
Course if you’re able to hear it as far away as the mountains or underwater, those have to be loud fuckin bells. Like the closer you get the more painful it is to hear.

@@hearther3811I mean, it can also just be interpreted metaphorically. Majora has a lot of finality themes that track with that kind of logic.
That sound always fills me with dread. I am just going through a dungeon or just doing something then all of a sudden DING DONG. Catches me by surprise. The thing is no matter how far you are from Clock Town you can still hear the Clock Tower bell ringing almost as if it's Termina's evacuation siren. Even if you are as far on the edge of the world as the Stone Tower you still hear the bell.

One time i was watching a video playing roblox, When the video ended (I was playing some horror game) That "DING DONG" scared my out of my chair lol
This bell sound always sent a chill down my back. When I'm in the middle of a dungeon/temple or quest and I forget all about the time, this sound always serves as a reminder of what is about to happen if I dont pick up the pace.

No matter where you go you always hear these sounds of impending doom.
I love this game concept.
It's basically the game telling you that you're running out of time
Three words that describe what we feel from this bell: anxiety, tension, and uncertainty.

Dude this actually makes me feel uneasy
I use a phone app to play a single bell chime every hour on the hour. I used to have it repeat the number of the hour it was (e.g. 3 bongs at 3 AM/PM) but that became a little much.
Also with the same app, it plays the rooster and wolf at the dynamically updating sunrise/sunset times.

What hear my neighbours when I’m in their walls:
Hearing those bells when the in-game clock strikes 5:30 P.M. on the Final Day while you are in Termina Field or Clock Town is the true definition of unsettling.
No music, only the ambience sounds and the Moon's earthquakes are the only thing that you can hear during that half hour before night time comes.
If there is one thing I do like about these bells, is that they are not considered a global sound, they have an origin point and with a good headset you can hear their location depending what area you are (i.e. if you are in Termina Field, the bells will always chime to the center of the area).
How about hearing the bell while the song Final Hours is playing? To me that was the most powerful use of this sound.

I get what you mean, but by the Final Day, hearing those bells by sunset is giving the player a wake up call.
During the first two days, those bells at sunset don't really matter that much since you have 60, and then 36 hours left. Maybe just a little nudge to keep track of time but not too much importance.
But once the Final Day arrives, the ambience of Clock Town becomes really unnerving since the vast majority of the citizens evacuate, and the entire area just becomes a deserted place.
I like to use this sound every New Year’s Eve thanks 😊

In the last 30 minutes of each 12-hour interval, up until Night of the Final Day, the bell rings every six minutes.
In the final hours, it rings every ten minutes, until the final hour, where it rings every 5 minutes, and then the final 30 minutes where it rings every 3 minutes.
From what I know the bell rings a total of 71 times - 46 in the final hours.
