Years ago I got trashed by my entire team for not scouting in the AMX 40. Because you know, I was the only "light" tank on the team.

59-16 used to be SO INSANE when it had the autoloader... don't play it anymore now, but back in the days it was SO underestimated
I played it with 57mm from the Type T-34 cause it had better dpm, pen, dispersion, accuracy and aimtime.
Still a pretty strong tank. The only thing you have to worry about is your own HP. Even an old fart like me managed to carry tier 8 battles with that thing, just keep the distance. But indeed, the autoloader was kinda nice in the days.
Well the autoloader gun was with lower penetration and alpha. It was better in some situations, but way worse in others. I was skeptical initially, but liked more the current one in the end. The main reason 59-16 is underrated is because type64, which is OP, and all the other tier 6 LTs. Too much variety and it doesn't shine with exclusive skillset anymore. I still kept it though and it's great really.
The 59-16 still is great. Now its like a type 64 with better pen and i think gun handling (not sure) but a bit worse dpm. Still a good gun it plays well as a light-brawler role.

The game in this video reminds me of why I used to play wot so much. Classic good feeling of synergy with a stranger to crush the enemy

this video is really important for me, playing my blind Lynx, if I’m not focused I tend to try to “active scout” when someone in the team asks for it and most of the time I end up dead and regret listening to them lmao
lynx is not a passiv spotter bro, you'll get overspot everytime, you must activ spot
@@amx8380 yeah I know, I put it in quote marks because most of the times theres not a safe path for me to active spot, but obviously they think I can just ride everywhere 😬
Passive spotting is great in some maps, same with active spotting.. it really depends on how can you help your teammates deal damage to enemies..

I've gotten the same berating in my ELC AMX bis before while racking up 3k spotting.
One time I got 6 kills in my light and "only" 1k spotting. So some TD on the other team I killed (for the win) decided I was a horrible noob player for running around getting kills instead of spotting.
The toxicity people feel in this game is truly astounding sometimes.
I can’t play ELC AMX anymore, because it’s so bad compared to what it was. It used to be a TD/Light hybrid, with a tier 7 TD gun at tier 5, but then they gutted everything about it.
@@iwantlee9510 The little thing is still way OP. I use the little gun and leverage my camo and viewrange to play like an ELC EVEN 90 at tier 5 with no "Cmdr's Vision System" thing. I'm pushing 65% winrate overall. My last 40 games I hit 78%. I frequently do double my HP in damage. It is hilarious. I'm playing this thing like mad until they nerf it again.
These are people I call "crybabies", they really shouldn't be playing a game with the intensity of *_World of Tanks_* . It's a shame *_Hello Kitty Online_* isn't still around . . . 😛

This is one of the best videos on WOTs that has been released in the last few years. I MISS the Good old days when u and Jingles put out reports on all the tanks and all the new premiums. The historical info jingles put out with his reviews. The Alpha game play in yours. . That was when WOTs was at its best for me. The community, the games, everything was in step. This game reminded me a lot of that time. Such nostalgia!!

I rarely play light tanks because of this exact reason. Too annoying having camping TDs that constantly pester you to do a suicide run so they can get in a shot or two on the enemy campers.
I often get teammates telling me what to do or what not to do but they don't understand why i do such things. After a battle i check their profile and understand why they kept on telling to do this or that.. i play at a high level that average players wouldn't understand my play style. In turn I'm one of those players that will tell you what to do.. go here, spot there, etc. but its because i know what i'm doing and i know what will win us the game. That's why i always offer friendly advice but usually players won't take my advice that would not only help them but help the team. Moral of the story know when to listen to someone and know when to ignore someone from telling you how to play the game.. if it makes sense do it you might learn a thing or two.
only in the end game carry when surviving teammates have 2+ kills one can rely on their knowledge and advice.

Wonder if he had been trying to do some stream sniping, since QB was running anonymizer, and ended up on same team instead of opposing one.
I remembered playing the 59-16 with the autoloader. It was a blast. Ok, the pen was abysmal but it was really sneaky and at the end of the battle you could get to enemy's rear and dump your rounds.
I kinda made it work even without premium rounds

Lights were ruined when the spot dmg started getting shared.
To be fair. if you don't have eyes. or know where your target is. you might as well be a sitting duck. then again you shouldnt be putting yourself in a position where you can't spot your target.
@@silentcaldari7594 sometimes you have to be patient and wait for the incoming enemy teams push. A lot more f times the first light to get spotted gets wrecked. Light tanks can be better active or passive so playing your tanks abilities to the Max can win games. Would you rush a E75in a Tiger 1
Glad you are giving some love to LT's! (unlike WG) I'd love to see you do a video with advice how to scout at T8,9,10. Scouting gets much harder at those tiers.

That's how I feel about anyone that complains about someone else in chat. Especially when the complainer dies early game.
Happened to me recently when I was playing my Scorpion (the T7 American premium TD). Ended up in a T9 match on Arctic Region, South Spawn. I took my scorpion to a spot that would give me bushes to snipe to the north and a position that would allow me to help the southern push if needed.
Battle barely starts, barely a minute in, been sniping at enemy tanks spotted in the north, when I get shot by an allied Super Hellcat for some reason. He is moving south. I notice that our T9 heavy tank decided to camp near base, and had died because of that. Leaving our heavily armored TDs (a Tortoise basically) as the main unit preventing the enemy from pushing. So, I start sniping enemy tanks in the south to help get pressure off of the Tortoise, and because of my actions, the enemy's T8 SMV CC-67 dieds (I shaved off half it's health and tracked it so that others were able to kill it). That is when I noticed that the Super Hellcat that shot me earlier, had already rushed the enemy Cobra and died. And he had started to berate me for "camping". At this point, I already cost the enemy team their SMV CC-67's life, and due to my sniping had forced the enemy Cobra to retreat. Me and our T7 SMV CC-56 had stopped the enemy push, meanwhile our team had defeated the enemy push in the north.
The Super Hellcat, had for some odd reason singled me out, for playing a 1mm armor sniper tank destroyer, to it's strengths, by remaining calm, and sniping T8s and T9s that could EASILY defeat me if they wanted to. He had singled me out for...camping...which was what he was doing...till the point that he foolishly rushed the Cobra...and died. He did not single out the T9 camping heavy (An Object 257 mind you) that died very early in the battle, no, not at all. He singled out a sniping tank destroyer that has no armor, for not rushing the enemy tanks and fighting them in close quarter combat.
In the end, I had dealt 1.6k personal damage with 400 support damage, and him? 200 personal damage and 700 support damage. Needless to say, I felt like messaging him after battle and rubbing it in his face that he did terrible and that he should have been yelling at the T9 camping heavy. But, decided to be the bigger tank (lol) and leave it be. I also guessed the reason he was not messaging me was because he literally had no real grounds for complaints at that point. I had did good, he did poorly. And when it came down to it, our stats also showed me to be the better player. So, guessing he realized that he was barking up the wrong tree.
But, yeah, it's funny, he stopped complaining in battle when I called him out for camping himself, because that was what he was doing...right till he bum rushed a Cobra that had finished reloading.
I love my 59-16. 1st 3-mark. I have over 1km signal range on this.

There's a reason why these tanks are called "light" and not "scout" tanks.
I remember when this tank had a 5-round clip of the Matilda IV gun. The pen sucked *** but BOY was it a great thin-skin killer
Speaking of playing stock, I think no one should ever be forced to play a stock tank with 75% crew because they play for free and don't have credits since they're new.
In General Crew should bei locked to 100% always in my opinion - bond vents, consumables and so on just enable good players and those who are willing to pay to have significant benefits over others playing the exact same tank and therefore
They 'll have a different impact on the game - in other words the better the equipment the bigger the advantages for already above average players and therefore actual performance of the players. -
In other words slightly below average players are just HP to farm with no change of carrying a close game because of low camo, viewrange and so on (even if map knowledge or strategies are only slightly worse)
yeah 75% crew is a gold trap WG is very insistent on. Until you can get to 100% you can't use training manuals and even free XP to train your crew. I have 100+ tanks and I still have to train some new member or entire crew occasionally and with most tanks it's a pain. Had really bad experience with T-34/100 last month with a brand new 75% crew and series of unfavorable matchups. At least the commanders pressure is down now with so many special recruits from events and the upcoming sixth sense changes.
I used to do that in the past, now I just keep playing the 'previous' tank until I can progress to the next with that crew with 90% base-skills (just silver to retrain) - this is earned back withing a couple of games or by using a premium if you have an appropriate one. It is also a good plan to play until you have enough free-exp to at least get the not-so-crummy gun and tracks/engine to avoid that horrible grind.
WOT wants to get paid like everyone else.

And in wot I have no problem with premium tanks or premium account, even prem ammo is okay because you can buy it for credits as well.
But to give good players unfair advantages most of the players can't reach/achieve (for example a 135% crew or higher with 5+ skills per crewmember) just creates a toxic unbalanced game where only really good members achieve results on behalf of a horrible experience of the others ...

I was a light tank lover till 9.18 hit the servers, since then the lights haven't seen any buffs, heck the SPIC has the lowest shell velocity of any light beside the HWK12, then you have the Cruiser 4 at T4 which hasn't gotten light camo bonus, the Covernanter which has no proper gun since the PomPom is useless at above 400M and the topspeed and veiwrange of that is the same, the A-20 and BT-7 also never saw any love so you have 4 or 5 low tier lights which are just hopelessly behind todays stats.
As a Swede, SNABBSNOPP seems like a truly original name 👌

When people tell the light tank to spot they don't mean in general they want the lt to spot for them so they can shoot things
i used to scout way back when scouting took balls and skill before the old t50-2. when the leopard 1602 was T3 or 4. used to go in arty parties in T10 matches with that mini-panther. good times.

Hey Quicky, talking about Light tanks, I think you may missuse the German Lights, Starting with the HWK30, the Ru 251 and the Rhm. Panzerwagen. Their objective is not spotting, but hunting TD's and other Light Tanks using their 102 to 120mm of HE Pen.
If they use that, the HWK30 for example is the tank with the highest DPM at Tier 8, disregarding Consumables and equipment.
Exspacially in a Platoon with a Autoloader they should be deadly.
I used Commanders Vision System, Rammers and Vents.
Maybe look into it, possibly on a stream.

I have had a game where i was in a LT but slightly behind a HT. Enemies kept popping up over a hill and taking shots, i would spot them every time, one heavy kept telling me to go spot, i explained that i was spotting them every time they peeked. So he shot and killed me. Turns out the enemies could now peek and shoot without getting spotted. Peak smooth brain move turned a winnable game into a definate loss.

I had "noob light spot FV" recently so I replied "I already did, twice. Did you shoot him?" . I never heard from that player again because I, rightfully called him out.

Just respond with “Noob TD’s, shoot stuff.” Spotted 13 tanks in the first move on Malinovka the other day in T54ltwt. No-one shot at them. Didn’t get my first assistance till around the 5 minute mark.

11:08 With light tanks, camo rating will NOT remain higher when you stay stationary. Light tanks are a special class whose camo stays the same whether they're moving or stationary. QB you must know this!
He may have been thinking about the CVS metrics, though that is not applicable in a tier VI - VII match. Either way, he was generally safe if he kept the concealment bushes in play.

I like to equip my lights for passive scouting and sniping.. and my teams never understand that. I have maxed out view range and maxed out camo, remaining unspotted is the key to my success.
I miss being able to passive spot like this while playing. On the Console version, passive spotting has become pretty much impossible now thanks to the toxic yolo active-scouting meta that has ruined the high tiers.
the Bassotto was calling the other light a noob. SNABS wanted to shoot at tanks on hill and needed the Super Chaffee to spot them.
I love being told to rush 1 line on prokorovkha with 3 enemy light tanks still alive.

@QB The "spotter spot" shoutout wasn't called at you though. It was meant to make super chaffe advance - and given chaffes position I kinda do get its point (even though it was too rude). Although they are in a platoon, I think its a dynamic platoon of randoms, who joined in previous game, basing on Basottos message from first seconds of the video. I know riding in a hate train for toxic people is a pleasant ride, but in essence not much different to what they are doing. Especially if its unjustified. :/ Great game though, very entertaining! :D

Funny. I had a great LT game yesterday with over 8K spotting damage. Someone in a T30 was berating me towards the end of the game for not moving.
I don't know why WG removed the autoloading feature of this gun. It only needed a bit of extra standard penetration. The subsequent tanks that went into the game afterwards (T71 flavours) just rendered this tank unplayable anymore, particularly in Skirmishes of 7v7 at tier VI and VIII. Everyone thought that I was crazy playing that tank back in the days, unknowing that it was by far the tank in which I had so much fun.
1:52 - Quicky, that's the same what I face with my Leo PTA. I finally got it 4-5 days ago and since then it's just brutal. I played around 30-35 games with it already with a win ration of 12-14%. It's just not meant to win a shit when playing with stock tank + stock crew. It's absolutely frustrating and causes me a lot of emotional pain. I know the reason behind this - WG just want me to spend real money in order to improve the tank faster in order to get at least 1 win out of 3 games, because currently it's something unreal. And I'm not considering myself so bad player. I play this Leo as a TD and most of the time I barely reach a moment to shoot someone before the team has melted like a snow. One of the games we needed exactly 3 min. when our team was minus 8k HP. So I doubt this is all about player skills. They just punish me for not paying for this crap. But guess what - with this attitude, I won't give a penny to WG any more. I even consider deleting the game and never come back. It's just not worth the time, energy and emotional damage I cause to myself for this crap.
