When I was younger I used to always go full out blond and thennnn I realized how pale it made me look. Balayage blond is my go-to now! :)

If Katie is serious about having depression in the winter, she might have seasonal depression. It’s a very real thing.
I wouldn't know what happens in their private lives, but from the vlogs there has been no sign of actual depression.
I would think that Katie just means she loves the summer (freedom, summer activies, comfortable weather, no school, vacation) a lot more than the winter (cold, a lot more time indoors, only part way through the school year with a lot left to go).

I went thru that blonde phase myself until i realized when i saw a photo . Then it snapped me into reality. Blonde is tough to take care of it dries out your hair with chlorine, shampooing etc then its looks like straw !!

Katie is right. I have something that is Diagnosed and it is called seasonal depression. So in the winter I have to sit under a special “sun” light and take medication to boost the vitamin D in my body. So summer coming to and end scares me because the dead of winter is bad in New Jersey 😂😩. So maybe you have that too. Anyway good luck in school and Cheer!!

FIGJAM1105 That is exactly what I was thinking. A liiiitle hypocritical. Not to mention that skin cancer isn't a cute look either. That is why so many people fake tan, even in LA. Keeping skin healthy and wrinkle free takes precedence over intentional sun damage to get a desired skin tone.
† libra subliminals † Did you even watch the video? She is against artificially coloring skin, but for artificially coloring hair, because she doesn't like "fake" things. They are both "fake" coloring though. Nobody is forcing her to tan or color her hair.

People are just pointing out the hypocrisy in her stated belief system, since she un-ironically gave a speech criticizing her peers for being "fake" by artificially changing their skin color, while she is in the process of artificially changing the color of her hair. My kitty looooves Party Mix! It's his favorite treat. I think the party is really sweet and fun. ^.^
Though I will say you want to be gentle when holding the cats (I am sure you know this but I thought i'd mention it to explain why Edward acted the way he did), it's very rare that cats like being cradled on their backs, there's a specific way I was always taught to hold a cat and most cats prefer that.
I am sure the cats were just overwhelmed by all the people too so that could explain it as well.

Actually yes Katie there is a disorder called Seasonal affective disorder (or SAD). It's a very real thing, its a form of depression that takes a lot of energy out of you and makes that person feel moody when seasons change, mainly from Summer to Fall/Winter.
Katie says: "I don't like fake." So changing your hair colour isn't faking?

Katie definitely looks great with a tan, but it would also be a good idea to try a gradual self tanning lotion during the fall and winter to give your skin a break from the sun. Being someone who tans easily can also give you a higher risk for skin cancer. Just some food for thought on the tanning topic.
