My family and I have had cats and dogs forever and they do good. Some even have been bffs and loved each other. It will happen they will adjust it may take time. It will be easier for the pup then the cats though.

Since Ryan didn't get his eye injured (but dang close!) that cut is pretty cool. Just don't let it get infected, cat scratches can be bad.

I mean it could possibly be because he needs to learn animal boundaries. Geesh.
Ryan is right, Katie would really only be able to see the dog a lot for two years especially if she goes out of state for college. We got a dog when my sister and I were both young and he lived 15 years and we got to spend so much time with him. We got another dog maybe 4 years ago and she was about 10 years younger than our other dog and now that I am in college I don’t get to see her very often even though I visit home every other weekend. It is just very tough and she would be better off getting a dog when she gets married and has kids so that the dog can get as much loving as possible.
Katie? Go out of state for college? I think she'll want to stay close to her parents. She's 16 years old (going on 17), and still asks her mommy for snuggles. What I worry about is her and Caden, assuming they've both found the one. What if Caden ends up going to college in, I don't know, California? Long distance relationships *never* last.
The reason that the cat had that reaction was how you introduced them. You just brought a new dog into their house and did not give them a chance to get to know each other. There are tons of videos online on how to bring a new animal into your home and they will live fine together.
I just throw my new pets into the pike and let the fight it out. There is usually no blood.

General rule of thumb: you can bring a cat into a dog's house but it is harder to bring a dog into a cat's house.
Definitely harder but definitely doable with the proper introductions. We've successfully introduced 2 dogs into a home with 2 cats and they are all very fond of each other :)

I’ve had different dogs and cats live together and they are absolutely fine!!! Also a cut and a car scratch is very different, car scratch heals fast too!

I have 4 cats and even every time we got a new cat the other cat would freak out like that. I don’t think it matters wether it’s a new cat or new dog. The cats will adjust. They freak out bc it’s something new they’re not used to yet.
Yes! We had 3 and introduced a kitten and none of them liked her. But now they all get along just fine!
Exactly, we have 10 cats and have had to introduce them many times. So still don’t get along all the way, but they are able to live In the same house.
A dog in a house with two cats that was not properly introduced, and dogs get attached to people ( example; Charlie from the Tannerites after Polar died and they moved ). Any pet is a lot of work, if the kids bring the pet into the house - they should be responsible for it ( with exception to the vet bills ) - feeding, bathing, walking, training. And Katie showed how responsible she could be when she got the hamster. An animal is not an impulse buy, it's like raising another child.
Added question; Did you even think about what to do if the dog and cats do not get along?

as someone who owns a cat and dog, ryan shouldn’t have been holding the cat because they are very territorial and the cat felt threatened. you have to introduce them SLOWLY starting with the cat smelling the dogs scent and then introducing them in a small and safe environment
We have a dog and a cat! The cat grooms the dog. We’ve had them since they were little together. Cats get used to dogs

Not always. Lots of dogs hate cats and lots of cats hate dogs. Very hit or miss.

Yes get a dog, they are great companions. Dogs and cats do get along growing up we always had 2 dogs and 2 cats. It just takes a little time to get use to each other.
As a dog owner, never get a dog on impulse. It's like having a 3 year old kid for 14 or 15 years.
Think about all the pros and cons. What will you do when you go on vacation? The dog will bond to you so leaving it for any time will be as traumatic as leaving a child.
Please think very carefully about having a dog

I have two dogs and two cats and they get along so well now. At the start they wouldn’t go near each other but now you find them sometimes snuggling with each other! It’s so cute!! Just takes a little while too adjust.

Popcorn is produced from 1 of the 6 types of corn, (flint corn) is the most common for popping, it is dried in a special kiln to toughen the skin, while retaining moisture to expand and cook the starch to fluffy numiness before breaking through the hull. 😁

from my experience , yes u can have a cat and a dog i had loads of cats growing up and i had a English bull terrier and after awhile of getting used to each other they would eat sleep and do everything toghter just graduallythey will like each other x

Yep popcorn is a specific type of corn. We've tried growing it before. You technically can use other corn, but this type works the best.

Popcorn is a special grown corn.Looks the same type of plant,but its popcorn .Not made from regular corn.We use to have it in our home grown garden.I am notno expert farmer.This was back in 1960,s when we had a garden.I live in N.C.Willard

Puppies and dogs are a ton of work especially since y’all travel so much!! Just make sure to do your research and give the cats a safe space the dog can’t go like the upstairs bedroom or Brennan’s room and bathroom!!

You grow “ pop corn” it’s a stalk like corn and it’s like corn a lot but just not normal corn. Ever wanna grow some the squirrels love them so be careful!☺️😂

It took a long time for my cat to get used to dog around the house she used to torment the dog which was a black lab and way bigger than the cat. When the pup was little she used to go to my pups kennel and hiss at it cause night I followed her into the room to see what she was doing in the dogs room and caught her in the act. I put a stop to that real fast. It takes cat longer to to get used to a dog than the other way around.

corn goes through a combine to remove the kernels, which are dried in a special container to develop the tough outer skin, and get a precise moisture level inside and in order for it to pop. The kernels that don't pop are too dry inside.
