- It turns out that the secret to a longer life could have been hiding 'under the surface' this whole time...22 feet deep to be precise. Because that's where Dr Joseph Dituri, dubbed 'Dr Deep Sea', has spent a record-breaking 100 days in an environment without depressurisation, adapting to daily life in an undersea lodge in the Florida Keys. The retired naval officer and university lecturer is here to tell us about the daily tests he underwent in this extreme environment, and the exciting findings that could benefit us all - as long as you don't mind shrinking for them, that is...

What a Great teacher to Have. Awesome Guy. 🐳
I miss the ocean. I used to "live' underwater as a SCUBA diver.
Bryan Johnson is gonna be moving under the sea.
Nice one Aquaman. 🧜🏻♂️
Gotta love Josie!! Such a honey x
So if I did press-ups then went into a. Hyper baric chamber to heal I’d get gains faster
Remember at all times , he is a military man - therefore there’s other things at play and not anybody can go do this
All it takes is money
I am not a scientist. However, I have a theory. Before the global flood, humans lived longer. There was no rain at that time. There was water above the sky that was crystallized, which reduced radiation, giving a perfect environment for longer life, and the process of aging was slower. This man was under the water with reduced radiation from the sun and could have gotten a better life sustaining environment while he was down there.
Also the earth wasn't tilted on its axis
That's possible.
Yes, that's true
Josie & Craig are the BEST!
I would be interested to hear from submariners and the people on submarines what they think of this story….my father lived till 102 but he never went deep diving in his life…he did swim through….maybe Scottish blood and a bit of temper helped too.
Optimum healing byself of one's body will surely erradicate immune related diseases, at least going better.
Obviously, there was someone down there with him. It's curious that he almost never mentions who was with him and even when he does, it's only in statements including the word "we." As in, "we reached out to..." I agree with him that exercise is important-- and I do wish it would enjoy a resurgence as it did in the 1970's. If only people didn't have to spend SO MUCH TIME working!
I’m married. I live under pressure every day for years. I’m not getting any younger.😂
What if in the near future we put an Pressurized Underwater Hospital or Rehabilitation Chamber?
nah, then the hospital can't make money with drugs with big pharma and get you addicted to opioids.
I wonder if these anchors even know what telomere lengthening means😂
I always loved my science teachers cuz they really understood how terrible learning could be if you didn't make it fun scientists usually understand that because science is very fun but if there's nothing then being done like with your hands it's all information and data and that is very boring so I think scientists and science teachers catch on a lot faster because in their own line of work they they get it they feel it so they always try to make it interesting somehow and especially science teachers they know when it comes on the children children don't like to pay attention very much so they know that they have to make some chemicals up and make some explosions and really make an impact in that way because it's fun and and especially if you pick a safety a safe safe science it's even funnier this fella is an awesome teacher I bet
7:14
how do you spend 20 years in the Navy and still complete a PhD
He really looks like a 65 years old guy but he is probably super healthy😊
What about sunlight its necessary
4:46 big lebowski on screen
What about the other people who was down there with him?
Building Pressurized Underwater Chamber Hospital will i think reverse all degenerative disorders not only Cancer,i think all we need is to look for an underwater place with a high concentration of Sodium so that the pressure is higher.
Could it been from breathing cleaner air, with no pollution?
They’ve known for awhile the benefits of hyperbaric but only rich can afford them!!
I’m a teacher at a public school and I am currently in mine in my front room. Choose where you spend your money. 15000$
@@jamiejacaway9253 is it a hard chamber or a soft one?
Ok, now here is my point." Will life underwater can be possible to be a new treatment against Cancer?" By reversing aging and rehabilitating human cells.
You can get the same effects from a hypobaric chamber.
She could rejuvenate me!
What if a child of 9 years or age is sent ?
People under 25 isn't aging the youngest it probably could make you is 25
He looks 55ish
What is his real age?
where's the proof?
IF HE GETS 10 YRS YOUNGER
IS IT HIS TESTOSTERON HIGH
He doesn't look 10 years younger 🤷🏽
I see they've hired Steve Jones who is sexy but Craig Doyle is a more genuine SEXY.
common sense ,,, all you have to do is gradually increase the oxygen in the atmosphere over generations eventually we could live 900 years again ,, hmmmmmmmmmmm if you are underwater you breath pure oxygen thats why you feel younger Duh ,, the solution . you make cars that produce oxygen when you drive them ,, common sense people
Or put oxygen in drinks instead of carbon dioxide. Makes sense.
That lady host needs to go for a 5 year underwater hiatus to get into shape and look healthy.
Already Indian saints lived over a period u know maaan??!
