"Melon Cholic" an instrumental in Dm

- This is an instrumental in three parts I created played on a Martin D35.
As it is played in the key of Dm it has a bit of a sad sound so I called it "Melon Cholic" for a bit of a laugh really - Hudba
Oh my God, Stuart, you are amazingly talented, and your wonderful music brought tears to my eyes and reached my heart and soul, so deeply, this is absolutely magnificent, so emotional, poetic, melancholic, it goes with the waves and I could listen to your wonderful composition for hours as it does echo within me so deeply ... Your playing is so delicate, your Martin sound wonderful, but you're the one who gives her so much emotion, and soul . Thank you so much for sharing . Liza

Beautiful instrumental, love that descending bass, makes me think of Baby I'm Gonna Leave You and Time in A Bottle, and I love the intertwining between guitars. Superb

I always think d minor is the saddest of all chords, really serene recording!!

C'est marrant le titre m'inspire tout un tas de blague scabreuse.. Le melon qui fiche la colique que nettoie l'immense chasse d'eau de la vidéo... mais la compo est si délicate, que mes pensées deviennent aériennes, légères, presque éthérées.... Bravo, c'est vraiment chouette !
J'ai eu un moment "Spinal Tap" en créant quelque chose de beau mais en lui donnant un titre stupide qui ne va pas vraiment avec la musique.

Lovely stuff. I think someone mentioned below how it reminds you of Led Zepp's 'Babe I'm Gonna Leave You' with that descending pattern.
Never even considered that possibility..but I suppose these day its pretty much impossible to play a chordal structure that hasn't been played by some one else at some point in the past..im glad you enjoyed it though..thanks for dropping by

I recorded this on a Martin HD35 retro fitted with a LR Baggs under saddle pickup into My Boss ME50 multi effects pedal..straight into a Boss BR 900 CD digital 8 track recorder, and that is about it..my equipment is not expensive..I record the audio back to Wav using Magix audio cleaning lab on my PC, but I always use the best quality interconnecting cables I can affords to limit any loss in Fidelity when recording back to my Computer.
The video of the Sea was recorded on a windy day of the coast in East Sussex in the UK near where I live...i have spent most of my life living by the sea in one place or another
