This is a kind of Karaoke version of a Frank Zappa track from his first album from 1966 "Freak Out" Your probably wondering why I'm here is a Humorous and satirical Look at American society as it was at that time..he continued this exploration further on his 3rd album "We're only in it for the Money" where he Humorously rips apart Hippy culture
I play the Bass line and sing over the song and created a suitably psychedelic video

This was a tough one mate, with so many instruments and sound bites , but you captured the essence of the song so well.
I like alot of the Zappa stuff, with my favourite albums being "We're only in it for the money' and 'Hot Rats' which I have blasting out in the car occasionally and get funny looks from everyone!

Thanks Max..really appreciate the feedback..I did put in quite a lot of practice to get the bass line correct..but it is such a blast to Play..Roy Estrada was a really inventive bass player who ended up IN Capt Beefhearts Band after leaving the Mothers...Yes...I Love Franks Music very Much as well..and he was an extremely good lead guitarist that's for sure...thanks for dropping by my friend
Hot rats is the 1st full album I listen to (ca.1979) and I remember I thought the electric violins were electric amplified harmonicas :-)
Otherwise I never listen much to Zappa (the other exception was a Captain Beefheart live album with Zappa from 1975).
Good job and even I did not know the song it sounded zappakaesk :-) to my ears, Stuart.

Thank you Kindly Graham..I have had a love affair with my Bass now for around 4 years..I find it easier to play than my guitar(s) because I have big hands and fingers..of course is till love playing my guitars as well..lol..I try to get an hour a day at least on the Bass usually considerably more..I will be doing more Bass covers over the coming months..im really glad you liked my FZ cover..talking of the FZ moustache and Goatee..I have sported said facial hair before now...but not for a few year..I have to say that FZ is a hero of mine...Have an excellent week my friend and thanks for dropping by
