The real "right way" to do this is to pull the carpet up and replace the affected pad, clean and treat sub floor, then tarp off affected areas underneath the carpet then do the water claw on the just the carpet, not getting the pad or subfloor wet. You're essentially flooding the carpet and padding doesn't dry properly underneath carpet so that will without a doubt lead to mold and bacteria growth... Im sure this way removes odor but the ultra nerd technical giant pain in the ass way is how i described 👍. Im sure you have plenty of success with your methods i just like to chime in
Thank you for this, I clean carpet for a living and almost never advise people to do this. Maybe if it’s one spot that had happened recently but most of the time we’re getting years worth of urine in the carpet and then people complained that it doesn’t come out the first time.
@@michaelbeard5432 ive realized it's best to walk away from urine work, ive still had places smell like urine after doing everything i mentioned. Ozone ends up being your last resort. Also painting walls and air duct cleaning can help in cases of lingering urine odors
@@michaelbeard5432 yeah i would use some clo2 after doing all that too because the urine stays inside the latex backing in some cases like years or months of urine. And even after all that an ozone treatment may be necessary along with repainting walls and air duct cleaning. Its all situation dependent. I try to stay away from urine work if all possible its never worth it
@@michaelbeard5432 yep and then having to come back 2-3 times kills all the profit and then that urine smell just gets old and the smell inside all the equipment, i just pass urine work onto the next idiot 😂
Umm.....I have a German shepherd with separation anxiety and beige carpet. Literally odoban with good old laundry detergent and a nice little fabric softener rinse. It works.
This is exactly my thinking if it’s that bad it needs to be done! Want to do it to my bedroom carpet, I managed to sort the pee luckily with proper chemistry and a lot of vacuuming and then a fan
I used to flush urine this way then tried it once without all the “ cleaning” chemicals , turns out the hot water by itself does all the work , never used oxidizers again
Yup same here, carpet cleaner. This aint how you treat pet stains. A real professional will recommend replacing padding, then treat with pet urine stuff and extract
Some people KNOW how to do their jobs correct. And then there's people, like the clown that made this statement, that think they know how to do their job correct.
Look I don’t blame this action ppl with there pets humans are lazy they rather let them go on there carpets rather than take them out to poo or pee🫤 pure disgusting!!!

Terrible idea! Getting the padding wet without pulling up the carpet on top of it will inevitably lead to MOLD, MICROBE, and BACTERIAL growth. You can only treat the carpet for urine stains. If you want to get urine out of the padding, then you need to pull up the carpet, pull out the affected padding, replace it, and then clean the carpet... 💯
Hopefully they do water restoration too
a year later and still best water claw video and most thorough rinse ive seen!!!
I don’t know why the carpet was wet for three days lol
No extraction dries up pretty quick.
But I will say this is one of the sloppiest jobs I’ve ever seen . They were all over the place, probably missed dozens of spots.

why do I have this mold smell
I dont mind the method, I just found this extremely satisfying to watch
Great Cleaning Video... very detailed.
Awesome rinse!!
I loved to see this soaked up carpet with good chemistry get extracted
Umm.....I have a German shepherd with separation anxiety and beige carpet. Literally odoban with good old laundry detergent and a nice little fabric softener rinse. It works.
Ummmm idk about this but whatever works for you.
I would of just done a standard clean. Chemical and water steam extraction. You need the water going into the carpets and extracting it out.
Well hello mold 😂
What do you use for drying out the carpet? I usually pull carpets outdoors to do the this process and have them re-installed with new pad etc

What the use for water? I typically us a rinser after I extract pet urine.
do you use hot or cold water when flushing out pet urine?
No more pet urin smell, but now you have mold.
Does this method only work in Kansas City? If so, what are the repercussions if this is tried outside of the City of Kansas?
Lmao…

If you’re using OSR it needs to dwell for 30 minutes to work properly but good job
How to get pet urine out the carpet first you never allow pets inside your house 👍😂
Water claw is beautiful to watch
How does this work with no dwell time? This can't be an enzyme that eats urine if you're not allowing any dwell time
It's so wet, i'll bet it's still dwelling
Chyba za dużo wody jest użyte 😊
Good try.. sometimes it’s better to replace the carpet ..!!
That's true but sometimes we save it
@@bbsteamstar1bro, this just created mold down there. Horrible
Definitely not the way do it. 😳
Yea mold just walked into this group chat. This carpet cleaner is an iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii....
That’s why I don’t have any dirty pets in my nice house
I'm sure the pets are happier not being in your dirty human home too
Yuck!
For you guys saying it's over wetting etc and wet for days obviously ain't professional carpet cleaners 😂 find a new career ...great work
36 years in the buisness. And this way isnt how u do Upt treatments. I would fire any of my techs that tried this method.

I did water mitigation for almost 8 years and anytime there was flooded carpet the padding is removed and the carpet was extracted and cleaned

Ah, you know these people? Maybe the pet is old and can't hold it up so well anymore.
Well if they old get rid of the dogs and if they can’t do for the dogs GET RID OF THEM!!!!!!!!
