I am in rented home but I have my own carpet cleaner .. I think no one should leave the rented home with dirty carpet !!
And they even destroyed some parts of the carpet, isn't that generally in the contract and they have to pay for damages? Or taken from the deposit?
They probably took the deposit for this cleaning but if she had to replace the entire house it would’ve been on her. The cost of doing business unless it’s written on the lease that the tenants will pay for carpets which tenants don’t generally take on that kind of responsibility. But look at the size of the house I’m sure it rents for at least 2k-3k if not more depending on location. So they can afford new carpets.
@volcano hi in many states it states in rental agreements that the carpets must be changed every 7 year.. Personally If we ever had a rental property I wont have carpet in them at all I HATE CARPET with a passion it is gross and holds so much nastiness in it..
The first place my wife and I rented having the carpets professionally cleaned on move out was in our lease. I am a vacuum collector. When we moved out I pre vacuumed with a Kenmore, Hoover and Kirby back in late 2009.
No offense but a little carpet cleaner from Lowe’s or Walmart is not enough to thoroughly clean a move out property.

I'm sure they did, but they used a cheapo vac and they never cleaned the filters. Clean those filters out monthly and check your beater bar for hair build-up.
@@Chrislk1986 That's exactly what it is... people never clean the filters out or the motor will be clogged or the tube will be clogged and they just run it like that and the vacuum cleaner will be screaming and not doing anything but pushing the dirt down into it. I've gotten 2 or 3 vacuums that way because they thought they were "no good".

I use a Dyson vac on my carpet and I swear I almost get that much ‘dry soil’ out every time 😂. I vacuum twice (every few days), have 2 dogs, and live in an apartment 🤢 why must carpet exist in apartments... i think I’m vacuuming 10 years worth of other people’s dirt..

Same here. I have 2 cats and 2 kids lol. I thought that was a normal amount of soil lol. I vacuum everything twice a day and get that much at least every few days
rocky mountain lass I have YET to find a good Hoover brand vacuum. Shark makes a good affordable vacuum.
Carpet is a natural filtration system, imagine all the world nasty soil coming in to your hardwood or tile and then drying, now your children come home and move through the home as kids do and boom all that soil is up in the air and you’re breathing it in and affecting your eyes/nose etc etc. there was a scientific study done in Sweden years ago about hard surface air quality vs carpet in commercial settings. Lol sorry I’m a floor nerd and have a professional floor cleaning business of my own. They teach it at the IICRC certification nationwide.

On work ethic and seeing what you've accomplished in that home anyone in his area should be calling him to clean their homes or rentals. If you live in a home yours or rental respect it vacuum and clean up after your household. You're homes air quality, your health and happiness will be much better. I even clean my vacuum after every use helps to get a better clean and extend the life of the equipment. Take pride in yourself and your space because you are worth it.

That is why, with a dog, I have laminate downstairs and carpet upstairs! I have rugs that get cleaned but I couldn't have carpet downstairs with my pooch in and out the garden. I am obsessed with a clean floor!!

We currently have my brother staying here with his dog, my 2 large dogs and 2 toddlers and myself and husband.

Wait until the humidity goes up. I haven't had cats for 10 years and ripped all the carpeting out because the cats destroyed it and I found the original 1949 hardwood flooring was underneath. Still to this day when the sun shines on my hardwood near the front door, it will smell like cat piss.
In the UK (mostly) it’s part of the tenancy agreement to get the carpets cleaned professionally before you leave.
It's not lol professional cleaning is optional, domestic cleaning is essential, but they can't force you, they'll just take the money out of your deposit

Yup, good vacuuming is often overlooked in good carpet cleaning (or maintenance)
Nice job as always 👍 , but why not just use a Rotovac 360i with the carpet brush easier on the arms and really scrubs the carpet fibers and leaves the carpet fluffy and dried IMO . Carry on !
There is a big difference, it looks good, but defenetly with the 360i and brush would of look alot more better.

@@nobody-xh6ii I have 4 boxer dogs so I've figured out to just buy a $70 vacuum every year will be best. I've had 2 dyson's etc and eventually they stop preforming like they did in the beginning because of build up of dirt and hair in the places you cant clean out in the vacuums.

There is a ton of spots still and even more are going to come through when it's completely dry. I've been screwed over on deposits because of carpets like these. She should have replaced them and been done with it. Yes it looks better and you did a good job but it's only temporary till those stains start coming back up.

They still look dirty to me as well. Much, much better than they were but still not clean enough.
I can attest to that. I moved in my current residence and the carpet was awful!! I mailed a certified letter to the landlords after being informed that "the owner can't afford to put in new carpeting". So when I move out, I pray they dont attempt to keep my deposit. I still have the certified letter if they try anything.

NASTY! who the hell let's their carpet get this dirty and nasty? the people who lived there, do they even know what a vacuum cleaner is? I would've LOVED to see the water being emptied and if it was into the street, then put a camera #2 recording that and splice it into the video.... did a damn good job! personally I would've charged over $500 to clean that shit up...just EWWW I feel like I need to go take a shower now...when ever I move, I get all my stuff out then I rent a rug dr and totally clean the carpet, most of the time I leave it cleaner then it was when I moved in, I now own my own shampooer so my carpet gets cleaned monthly...vacuumed every 3 days, this is a tiny appt, more if it needs it...ocd...that place just grosses me out

As for all the dry soil, either they didn't vacuum much, or they had a really cheap/crummy vacuum. I thought I needed to replace a carpet once, but I bought a Shark Navigator and after one session, it looked like new! I got at least that much dry soil out of that one, too! Yikes. I think under $100 you get what you pay for with vacs, and they can't be trusted. My Shark is WAY better than any Dyson or Kenmore Elite I've ever used, and way cheaper. Hmmm....maybe I should see if I can do a commercial for them LOL. Anyhoo- I love your work, and your passion for a job well done!
Soil will come out but in about a week or so the stains will start to come through again.

@@quiet_shy Yep. $3.00 a square foot. I buy properties for institutional buyers who purchase and rent them, and estimating rehabs is a part of my job. That said, any investor who elects to clean instead of replace a carpet that worn is a slum lord.

Great job, but let me tell you that shark vacuum is one of the worst vacuums you could buy. It may have looked like a lot of dry soil, but I’m sure more could have come out. Let me recommend a Sebo Felix, G series, or X series. They’re expensive, but they’re worth the money.
Bubble Butt I agree, dyson is better then shark. But if you compare the quality and performance of a dyson to something like a Sebo or a Miele, you will see why they are better.

Whoever cleaned our carpets before we moved in did a terrible job. No matter how much I vacuum it the residue won't come out. It's also covered in stains from the previous owner
