Hi there, I’m just embarking on this whole project myself and stumbled across your series, so I’m viewing my way through your videos, just wanted to say thank you for filming everything and showing all your tips and tricks. Your work and explanations are so good thanks.
    All the best regards Neil

I'm enjoying this build series, particularly the standard of finish and the amount of thought that has clearly gone into it.

Great idea with the hanging rail dropping to the rear 😎 obv so the clothes will naturally slide away from the the ladder , so as not to hinder it's removal👍

Hi I am planning on a build myself what material did you use for your cupboards and is it lightweight, Also what size van is your which looks amazing by the way Thanks Craig

Thanks for the comment. the van is an L4H3 so is the 636 long variant. I used Ikea kitchen carcasses for the kitchen build, the rest is made from lightweight furniture board from Morlands (shower cubicle, overhead cupboards etc). I was not concerned about the weight of the ikea units as have 4.6t weight limit after up-plating, but they are heavy for a 3.5t so bear that in mind. it is super easy to install though....

Enjoying the build series, looking forward to the van tour, , I'm just starting my h2 l3 relay and was wondering how many sheets of Morland roughly needed for the average build, I see another guys build and he said 10 sheets which assuming he ment 8x4 seems a bit excessive, , keep up the good work and thanks for the inspiration

I used 6 in total but I think I've overkilled on it a bit, Could get away with 5 easily if a bit more frugal with it.

    Hi WCC.
Update on my last comment where I mentioned I was going to Morland.
Now find I need to go to Midland Leisure for a couple of "collection only" items.
Tried phoning them a few times on Friday, just ringing all the time.
    Will try again Monday morning.
Did a dummy order right up to PayPal and just one more click would have had them ordered. There seems to be no click and collect function on their website.
Can I ask, how did you order your one lightweight board off them?
Did you order online then just go to them a day or 2 later ?

When I rang I think that by chance, somebody was near the phone. have tried other times and had same trouble. try emailing david@midlandleisuresupplies.co.uk and make arrangements with him, he seems to be the boss. you will need to arrange your collection date/time as well as the warehouse I don't believe is manned all the time. when you enter the trading estate you would easily miss the warehouse as it does not have any external markings at all. the only giveaway that helped me was a stack of Maxxfans that I could see through an open roller shutter behind a locked gate. Not the easiest process you'll ever go through but once arranged, David seems a nice chap. He has a card machine on-site so take take your plastic with you, it is simple that way. hope that helps, good luck.

Never get board of watching your videos. Notice you pocket hole into the ceiling. During the early stages did you insert some timber ribs into the ceiling and if so how and is that covered somewhere and I have missed it. Thanks.

No, there is no timber above but did not see any harm in driving a screw through anyway, it helps with stopping it from flapping in the wind at the top.

How wide is your kitchen and shower in mm?

    • @wiltshirecustomcamper7203
      @wiltshirecustomcamper7203  Před 2 lety +1

kitchen is 1450mm long and 450mm deep, in hindsight I wish I'd gone about 420mm deep. shower room I answered on the shower build video in the comments, have a looksy. cant remember off top my head right now.

@@wiltshirecustomcamper7203 ah thanks for that. Our current counter is 620mm wide, in our next build I will make it 500mm wide next time because of the sink. If I can get a 400mm wide deep sink then I’ll make the counter 450mm wide lol
