The behringer xm8500 actually sounds better to me this mic isn't bad but I would rather buy the sm48 for the same price
I agree the sm48 is definitely the best option, problem is in Australia you can't get them for under $100
Here (EU) you can buy 3 of these microphones for one SM48, and even the PGA48 costs twice the price of one of these Behringers. Haven't tried those. At almost 5 times the price the SM58 is also great, but not five times as good.
@@NicoDeclerckBelgium I live in the U.S so while both are budget for me and are the same price I have an easier time going with a bigger brand but if it's more expensive where you live definitely go with the cheaper option especially if its sounds so good
This microphone (and it's brother the XM-8500) are definitely good value for money. One sounds better on one person and the other sounds better for someone else. Both are higly recommended. There are better dynamics of course, but at this price level, these are great.

Where is the on off button
There is no switch
Proper microphones don't have a switch, just the hobby level ones. The Behringer mic is copying a proper mic, so there is no switch.
