My favorite part of the full clip is when the heckler says "Nobody wants me to stop talking; nobody told me to stop talking," and Ariel says "Ok. Make some noise if you want her to shut up" to which she received the easiest applause of her life. So perfectly delivered and crushing
I also loved the one dude who was probably with those clowns saying:" I never want to hang out with any of you ever again" or something like that.

A dude actually was one who threw the beer. Was prob the girls boyfriend. U see him walk in fromt of the camera after the toss he exits. Thats why the friend mentions the group and not just the girl

be honest....she wasn't that good. Kimmel should have interviewed her as a guest to explain the beer toss. That would have given her an even better chance to show her personality and let her career blossom rather than let her fail on the stage here

That’s one of those moments in a persons life we all get to see…their debut on the national stage pulled from obscurity and given an opportunity to pitch their comedy…the result of which could change her life forever. Growing up in Kentucky…sadly she probably knew exactly how to handle a beer can being thrown at her. Kudos to her.

That's a fun way of looking at it! I wouldn't be surprised if years down the line she becomes either a big name comedian or a comedy writer where we can see her name in the credits of a feature film/tv series and know exactly how it started - which is even more entertaining knowing that her rise to stardom is because of a heckler who thought she was doing something lol.

She is a delight! Nerves of steel, We’ve seen her in two very stressful scenarios and she behaved like we all wish we would have after a stressful event.

But without her, people with a real sense of humor across the country wouldn't get to experience your talent as soon as we should. First saw Ariel hosting a Zoom peformance during the lockdown. Another comic on the bill asked a female audience member what she "was" (ethnically). After that comic's set, some time had passed and Ariel could have let it slide, but she very graciously addressed the moment and supported the audience member's response. Good comic; good person.

Jimmy wasn't the man. If Jimmy or his producers were smarter, they would have interviewed her as a guest to explain her experience on that night. That would have given her a chance to explain her thoughts about what it's like to be a comedian, the reaction to the beer toss, and what she really thinks about Trump. Her personality and career could have taken a further push from there, instead of a mediocre performance doing a regular comedy routine

I give Jimmy Kimmel and his producers a lot of credit for this. They are giving what could just be flash in the pan young artist a chance to showcase their talents on a national stage. They did the same with the Linda Lindas who are now touring nationally.
I love that Jimmy keeps doing stuff like this, as he did at the beginning of his talk show career. Listening to his interviews, he genuinely enjoys unique people on his show - a lot like David Letterman in his early days. I hope Jimmy is around for years to come.
